Amazing Ball Bearing Rollers
The wife was complaining about the pocket door being too difficult to open/close. So I ordered these ball bearing wheel version.I ordered two and promptly removed the door and looked at the original wheels, WOW! no bearings just float on the plastic whee. The original wheels were wobbly so I discarded them and replaced with the ball bearing version. Amazing the door slides so softly it actually almost closes on its own. If you have a pocket door that doesn't close this easily you must replace with these rollers.

Built better with a steel clip.
There is no bigger pain in the butt than changing out rollers for pocket doors. You have to remove the trim and part of the door jamb just to get at it (If anyone knows of an easier way, please share!). So if you're going to go through all this grief, the part you're installing had better be built to last. This roller assembly by Johnson fits that bill! The wheel roll smoothly and effortlessly down the track, and unlike other rollers who's weak link is the clip that swings over to lock the rollers to the base, this one is steel instead of plastic. Believe me when I tell you that makes all the difference in the world! That clip is what determines whether the door functions smoothly or drops to the floor. With that much riding on it, why would anyone use plastic?

Better than what it replaced
I bought this a replacement to a failed track slider for a pull out queen bed compartment in a new-to-me 10 year old camper trailer. This fit perfectly based on the dimensions advertised, and is visibly better made than the assembly it is replacing (with metal in a couple of spots where the old one was plastic), and works better than the remaining original with both are under no load. I need to recruit help to lift things into place, but may end up replacing the other one as well.

Smooth operation
I installed a set of these on a Non Johnson head rail. The wheels are about an 1/8 inch smaller than the original rollers. The pocket door was originally installed in 1965 (apartment building) and has had several replacements since then. This is the first set of trucks that roll easy. It only takes light pressure from my little finger to open or close. The door only weighs about 30 pounds so these trucks are over kill. For my money I won't waste my time on standard nylon rollers again. Installation was fairly easy, I chose not to remove any trim so it made it a little more difficult. I will be buying more sets in the future.

Great Quality - Almost TOO Good!
I had to replace the hardware on my sliding door as one of the wheels wouldn't turn anymore. I got used to the resistance of dragging the wheel, so when I switched to this set, I keep slamming the door open and closed. It's as smooth as butter and super easy to install. Great quality.

Works Well and Easy to Install
I purchased these to replace the standard rollers with nylon bearings that came with a Johnson Hardware barn door hanger assembly. I used a six panel solid core wooden and was concerned that the weight might eventually be too much for the plastic bearings. While it may not have been necessary, I have these ball bearing rollers on all my pocket doors and have been very pleased with them.

Perfect replacement with upgraded wheels and lock/latch
BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): these simply and perfectly replaced my original hardware with ease; plus the ball-bearing-based wheels slide much better, and the locking latch is made of metal instead of plastic. FYI: the price is for one roller, so you’ll need two of these two replace a door’s hardware. My house was built in 1967 and still had the original hardware on my pocket door that separates the main floor bathroom from the master bedroom—which is a fine arrangement until the rear roller disconnects from the door and the door doesn’t (open or close). While it took some doing to disconnect the front roller and get the door out; it was a snap to install the new hardware to the door and to the existing railing. The door should last another 50 years!

It has 3 pocket doors and the wood on them i beautiful so replacing them wasn't a option
I'm remodeling my house that way made in 1947. It has 3 pocket doors and the wood on them i beautiful so replacing them wasn't a option. I decided to use all Johnson products. I bought the railway and this wheel package. This setup is top notch and 10 times better than what it replaced. It is so smooth and slides so easy. It requires no effort to open and close. It was so easy to open and close I made cutouts to insert 1in felt circles in the end of the doors so you dont hear them bang any more. If you are debating as to if its worth spending the money or the quality I will tell you without a doubt it is worth it. If you want a top quality product that is going to last a long time, easy to install due to this innovative latch design and are not looking for some budget quick fix . I would buy Johnson. This is the best product for pocket doors out there. I bought it, installed it, and now I just enjoy them.
