If you are looking for toner to make ferrofluid, don't buy this one.
If you are looking for toner to make ferrofluid, this is not what you want to buy. I got this, and my poor daughter was in tears from frustration. It wasn't the magnet, that sucker is the real deal (sunkee block 40x40x2). So as toner for a printer, it probably works just fine like it was meant to. Save your kids the frustration, and research more into the exact toner to get.

Powdered ink??? Ugh, wish knew how to properly mix this stuff.
It would've been good to know that this is a powdered product.. I imagine it's a great product, however, some clearly stated comment or even an instructional video somewhere within the product listing would be helpful. I notice like five different vids' of random dummies installing ink cartridges etc., etc., etc.. but none related to this powdered product.

I'm sure this works well for it's intended use, but it was not magnetic enough to use in a ferrofluid recipe.

MICR Toner required for Science Fair Project
The toner was exactly what my nephew needed to perform his Science Fair project. When he couldn't find it anywhere in our city.....I told him to check out Amazon! He did.....and found it. Thank you.

Worked just fine! Saved a lot of money. The print may not be as sharp but if you didn't know I refilled it myself you would not be able to tell the difference.
