Coating defect.
Had this product for 7-8 months and the coating is starting to come away from the cooking area, trying to get Amazon to sort out the warranty complaint but so far no joy!

Non-stick doesnt work or last
We bought this wok separately from our new pan set, as it did not seem limited by the thick aluminium and small size of the wok that came in that set. It tries to achieve the holy grail of combining a non-stick coating with a mild blue steel traditional thin-walled wok. Given the latter by definition involves high heat cooking and Teflon (and presumably all other PTFE coatings) are sensitive to such, this is a big ask. Sadly, in our case this resulted in a build up and residue that cannot be removed by any amount of soaking, baking powder etc. Bottom of outer surface lost its coating as it gets moved around on the gas hob, but we more or less accept that was inevitable and are ok with that. Similarly, it seems to generally perform as conventional woks do. However, irremovable residues and rapidly deteriorating non-stick performance is a showstopper that we cannot live with. Really wanted this product to work, but Im afraid we shall not be going down this (or similar) road(s) again. It just doesnt work.

Great Wok, but was it really prudent to send it in a box the size of a HMO. Save the planet please.

Great non-stick wok, really enjoy cooking with this.

Not as good as hoped
I had one from ikea for years and replaced it with this one, thinking it would be better. The non-stick coating is too thick or too artificial, have your pick, resulting is everything gliding across the wok instead of the heat incorporating it into the food. For example, i’m used to the oil or soy-sauce being sucked up by the food but in this wok every liquid remains. Chicken doesn’t turn crispy or brown as the non-stick prevents it from absorbing the heat properly. Stir-fry vegetables and chow-mein get soggy as the non-stick coating prevents juices from evaporating and remain on the bottom of the wok instead. Never had this problem before with other non-stick woks and as a very experienced cook, i don’t like using this wok as it ruins dishes. I know wok’s are best on fire but if you make them for induction hobs, at least make sure that the casting is thinner to absorb more heat and use a different non-stick coating which does not prevent the heat from coming through properly.

Ken Hom non stick wok
The food (stir fry) quickly stuck and distressed the inside bottom. Lost its non stick quality within 5 uses. Have since bought another brand which is excellently cooking stir fry and after many many times of use is still non stick

Non stick coating peeled off after two uses.
If I could have a no star status I would. Wok was a Christmas present and has so far been used twice. Was going to use it this evening, but as I put oil in it a large piece of the non stick coating peeled off from the bottom, the Wok is now useless. Am going to return back top Amazon for a full refund.
