Math Puzzles for Kids!
This is a terrific book of math puzzles for kids. They start of easy (using only the numbers 1, 2, & 3) and get harder (using the numbers 1-6). I bought this for my 9-year-old to keep his brain active over the summer. It arrived today, and he LOVES it! I'm going to have to buy him volumes 1 and 3, too. These puzzles are great for problem solving and critical thinking. The puzzles are similar to sudoku (sp?), but not quite the same. It says this book is for kids ages 9-12, but I think my son could have done these when he was 7 or 8. He has an EXTREMELY mathematical mind. If your child is older (11-12) and also has a mathematical mind, you might try some of the kenken books for adults. I highly recommend this book!

Not really KenKen
It may be good for beginners, but all of its puzzles use only multiplication. I was annoyed that the "sample" never got to an example of the book's direction. I intended it for a young teen but had to give it to a younger sibling.

Fun Puzzle for kids who like math
My son really enjoys Kenken so I purchased this for him after he completed the last book. It has all different levels and helps work the brain. Very enjoyable.

Enjoyable
I bought four KenKen books for my husband for Christmas. He loves them! The puzzles are easy, but this is volume 2.
