No apparent difference from Culligan except price
I have had this in use for 3 months now and it is seemingly performing exactly like the Culligan brand filters. The fit was exact,it plugs right into the housing with no problem at all. It was substantially cheaper than factory original parts and filter replacement is so easy as a diy project that you can save even more by not paying someone to do it for you. Just follow the guidelines and make sure you don't contaminate it by touching with dirty hands and such.

Potentially A Good Membrane
Maybe I got a membrane in June 2013 that was not up to standard but it never produced water from my R.O. system with a TDS less than 50 ppm. I continued using it as it was rejecting 80% of dissolved solids, but I thought it should work better than that. This year, after only two years of service it would only produce water with a TDS of 110 ppm and that is unacceptable. Membranes normally last 3-5 years. In spite of this experience I ordered another one and it is producing water of 18 ppm, excellent. Input water has been constant with dissolved solids 260-280 ppm for the past several years so this is a much better membrane than the past one. I hope it continues to work well for at least three years.

It seemed to be a quality product but was assembled different than my original culligan. I installed it and it seems to have the same effect.
