great accent light
I bought the pendants a couple years ago and when I wanted to replace my stairwell light, I found this and was so happy.

It's beautiful, but...
We got this light to bring some fun into a boring, small sitting room. It certainly did that! We absolutely love the style of the lamp. There are some major cons though...1. The ceiling cover is smaller than traditional lighting covers. This means that for some instances, the cut hole for your outlet box will be seen, as this is exactly the size (not larger like typical installations) of the ceiling box. This means that you're either going to have to spackle tight to the box, or buy a medallion. It truly is a shame, big design flaw.2. Second design flaw - you can't flush mount it. Technically you could try to flush mount it, but in doing so you block the screw heads to mount to the ceiling.3. The shade isn't as gray as the picture appears.4. Limited down rod hanging options. Your minimum height from end of glass to top of fixture is about 16-18", which could get annoying on an 8' ceiling, and a 6' person. Would have been nice to have a few other options. I ended up removing the 1.5" decorative piece to make it smaller.Despite all of these cons, we love the light, and would give it 5 stars had it not been for the mounting issue.
