Kitten Shampoo, 17-Ounce

This shampoo is mild enough for use on my guinea pigs. I like that it lathers up and is easy to rinse away. They are slippery little suckers and are a bit like trying to hold a soaped up water weenie (toy from the 80's), so anything that gets the job done quickly makes me happy. It works fine for its stated purpose, as a mild shampoo for kittens or small animals. In addition, a little bit goes a long way, so I can see this bottle lasting practically forever. However, it smells like the jar of talcum powder my granny has had in the bathroom for as long as I can remember. It was ancient when I was a kid, and smells the same today as it did 30 years ago. I can hardly stand the thought of using this shampoo for a year or more and having to put up with the old lady perfume odor. Plus, my piggies are boys, and they need some kind of stud-muffin Axe scent. The old lady smell is really cramping their style.

I have a long haired kitten i just got and I was scared to give her a first bath. It went super good though and the shampoo was perfect her hair is a lot softer already! Smells like a baby though so if you dont like baby smell dont get it.

I love this product. It softens my kitten's fur and really cleans well. i wish it smelled a little bit better but it has a good smell for a kitten.
