I had puddles everywhere when I used this. It’s definitely possible that I just need to figure out better how it works, but that’s definitely something to be aware of.

This item works well to add moisture to the air, is quiet, of small size, easy to clean, and visually appealing. There are two settings, high and low, and the colored "button" is not a button after all, it works by touch sensitivity. So you don't receive any feedback telling you it is on low, you just have to watch the steam and hope it's on low. Also the first time I used it, I had it on high and the water soaked the carpet over the course of the day due to the amount of moisture it pumps out. I dried the carpet and placed a tray beneath the humidifier on the floor of my bedroom and all is well.

I've only had it for two weeks. No sign of the disk overheating and melting the parts together like other reviews mention. That said, this item is far from perfect and I only kept it because my priority is to have a humidifier that blends with my home decor and is not an eyesore.My issue is I can't use it on the high setting because water condenses on top of the tank, and I have it on the floor so my floor will get wet. Otherwise it works as intended. Large capacity means it does drip a lot of water when I have to pick up the tank and refill it. I just do it with a hand towel every time. Not that big of a deal. When full, the tank is heavy and the sleek handle backfires because it hurts my fingers, so I use the towel for that, too.One review complained about the lights; I have mine on the floor near my bed, the lights don't bother me. But about once a night there's a loud bubbling sound that wakes me up. I just fall right back asleep and it is otherwise very quiet.Overpriced for the quality, but many others at this capacity are the same price yet not nearly as sleek looking. I emailed Sharper Image customer service about the condensation at the top, thinking there may have been something I was doing wrong. The person who responded didn't answer my question or give me any tips, but instead immediately offered to replace it, so I'm glad to know if it does become completely inoperable in the next couple of weeks or months, I won't have any hassle about getting a new one and won't have wasted my money.

I’m sorry for those who had a bad experience but this humidifier exceeded my expectations! Stylish, quiet and easy to clean and refill. Fits perfect for my home office and helps keep my skin from getting too dry and my sinuses from cracking. The low noise is also soothing background noise. Again not sure why it didn’t work for some folks but I’ve been very happy with this purchase! I’ve had other noisy humidifier’s in the past so am happy with this one’s low noise level. Highly recommend! As with all humidifier it good idea to clean regularly to avoid mold.

Definitely looks nice but it is a pain to refill. You have to completely remove the container and unscrew the lid, which is located on the bottom requiring you to flip the unit upside down. The difference between high and medium is hardly noticeable, and requires guessing if you tapped the button just right. Wish it was easier to use and unsure it does much for the space it's in.

Most of the steam seems to fall back down and forms a puddle on the table and floor that needs to be cleaned up each morning. We have two other cool misters that do not do this.

I’ve been using this humidifier for about six months now. I bought it to raise the humidity level around a couple of my tropical plants. Since this is in the living room and visible to guests, I appreciate that it looks nice.This unit is quiet, but occasionally you can hear some bubbling as the water level falls. The mist is very fine and doesn’t leave water droplets on my furniture. And I find the tank easy to carry and refill.Though I bought this for my plants, I’ve noticed my home is more comfortable for me as well. It’s helping minimize how dry and cracked my skin gets in cold weather, and I haven’t been having the nose bleeds that usually bother me this time of year.

I bought this stylish looking mister for the plant in my bedroom. I have a fiddle leaf plant and since it’s a tropical plant, I needed something that would simulate the tropical weather (well, at least provide cool mist). It looks great, and keeps my plant happy. It’s not near my bed so I can’t say whether it’s super quiet or not but I can’t hear anything. I have had a few issues with the on/off button though. When I fill up the tank and turn it ON, it takes multiple presses in order to turn on. Like the button gets stuck from time to time.
