Total order came to 46.00. It’s a small 5 ml tube. I can’t say it’s reasonably priced but Kramer pigments sells pure Yinmn blue at about 75. Which I could make 3 large handmade pans or about one small tube here. Which I’ve done before. This recipe in the 5ml tube is fair. It is thick and packed with a fair amount of pigment. Unlike Daniel smith lapis lazuli the pigment is so sparse that it goes on very transparent and sticky from the amount of binder. I’d say this tube is worth having if you don’t want to go through the hassle of making your own Yinmn blue.

Schmincke is a lovely watercolor to work with. Pleased to grab a tube of this particularly beautiful color. AFTER ordering I found a domestic (to me) dealer that service my country and glad for that due to time frames to ship international, and frustration of tracking numbers not coming up in system.THIS seller wrapped my product well and it arrived from overseas in very good condition. They are polite, which is lovely. Schmincke watercolors are super nice to work with. (Similar to M. Graham if you’ve used them, tho binder is different,) I really like the texture and pigment loads of the Schminke I’ve got.Pleasant transaction and product overall, good service and very good packaging for international shipping.

Potter’s Pink is a lovely color. Schmincke is my go to for Watercolor paint. The seller Hyatt’s packaged it well and shipped promptly. I will order from them again.

I've had some 'problem tubes' from other shippers lately (getting squished and even possibly-exposed denting), but all the paint tubes from this seller (and full pans I've bought) are well-packaged.Oh, and point of the review: this is the best cerulean I've tried, with the M. Graham PB36 and Sennelier's "cinereous blue" (phthalo and white) coming in behind it. It's an easy lift, expected granulation (but not crazy, which I fear is a bit trendy and could date our paintings), and mostly Schminke's cobalt azure is just a very nice hue. (I'm not a fangirl of brands: the PY175 is too easy a lift with no tinting strength, and I don't understand some of the earth colors.) Series 4 so it's not a cheap paint, but it's worth the cost. Tints out nicely, too. Haven't pushed too many mixes yet, but just very impressed. One of those paints that make you smile and say "job well done, German company that can't name paints!" LOL

Beautiful product and allows for great granulation.

I'm not an artist by any means but I do love buying and using artists watercolors. I once used student grade water colors and I actually didn't enjoy painting as much as the difference was too noticeable for me to keep buying them. My absolute favorite are Schmink, W&N,Daniel Smith and more recently purchased Mission gold water colors from Amazon and am so impressed by them. I have favorite colors within each different brand and am so happy that Schminke finally started to sell Opera rose pink which they never did which is my favorite color of all time. You won't be disappointed. They are expensive Inlike to buy the colors I love and put them into a pan and let them set overnight.
