I used to love this magazine...
I have subscribed to this magazine for several years, and I won't be renewing it when the current subscription expires. I think the demographic that the magazine is aimed at has changed. It used to be filled with recipes that were relevant to an ordinary middle-class family. The recipes have become more sophisticated, include hard to find, expensive or unusual ingredients, and generally do not appeal to a family with children. The content is becoming less food-related with articles recommending makeup and clothing. Maybe someone unmarried or without children that likes to entertain and keep up with new food trends would find the magazine interesting, but it no longer suits my lifestyle.

Boring With a Lack of Identity
There are way too many ads/cross-promotions. I get it, it's a magazine but it's way too over the top. Rachael Ray's "schtick" has always been simple and quick food preparation but most of the recipes featured would put you back $50+ by the time you get the ingredient list (if your local grocery store even carries them). The recipes seem way too sophisticated for her target audience. I find the magazine dull and lifeless, which is surprising for what she tries to project elsewhere. There's not any one feature I look forward to each month. I also dislike the excessive packaging (placed in plastic with yet MORE ads stuffed in). I finally remembered to cancel this time.

Disappointed
I was expecting quick and easy meals that I would actually try in Rachael Ray's magazine and so excited to get my first one in the mail. I was very disappointed when began reading through it and none of the recipes were dishes my family would enjoy. Although, I did watch Rachael Ray's 30 minute Meals show on Food Network Saturday and those were definitely dishes I would love to try! These should be in the magazine!

I thought this would be a simple magazine with quick recipes to try. Recipes, for the most part, are complicated and require ingredients I don't have. Also I can't afford most kitchen gadgets and other items offered in magazine. Thought this magazine would offer simpler life.

Not for the initiated
If you are a watcher of shows on the Food Network or a regular reader of food magazines, you will learn nothing new from Rachel Ray Every Day. At least, I did not from the February 2019 edition. I should admit that I have far more cooking knowledge than the average person, so my view of this dumbed down version of a cooking magazine is harsh. But if you are looking to actually learn to cook, this is not where you'll find it.

This is a great cooking magazine all around
This is a great cooking magazine all around. It could use more grocery store and budget shopper ingredients, but all in all I love it. I have been getting it for many years, ever since it came out. There is always a burger of the month as well as a cocktail of the month.

Wife Likes It
My wife really enjoys this magazine commenting that most the recipes are doable and that in most cases the ingredients are available at out local rural grocery store

Rachel Ray for Everyone
Bought this subscription for my mom and she loves it. She's one of those people that follows recipes exactly and everything she has made from this magazine has turned out great! Too bad there are tons of ads but all-in-all, good magazine for those that like to cook and don't have to get too bogged down with fancy recipes that require ingredients nobody has in their pantry!
