Lightweight & gets the job done
I've used several duraforks (or knock-offs) over the years. My last one broke after getting snarled on a root and this replacement, while a bit pricey, is a nice tool. In the past, the forks I've used have had wooden handles. The difference an aluminum handle makes is quite a bit - it's much lighter than my old one. The ergonomics of the thing took a little bit for me to get used to and I would like to move the padded hand grip just a little, but all in all, I am quite happy with my purchase. If you are using a pitchfork or a metal durafork - you should give this one a try for sure! They are great for spreading mulch and picking up yard debris too!

Would buy again
I had to take over the barn duties when my husband had surgery. Really was a game changer! Very sturdy, lightweight as well. Good price

Love, love
Love, love, love this fork. My back thanks the creator of this fork! It is so much easier to use than traditional muck forks - lighter and easier on me in every way. The only weakness in design is the sponge grip on the handle. That is not super durable and has shredded on two different forks. I'm not sure if they sell a replacement for this piece and it is nicer to have on the fork than to risk damp hands sticking to the aluminum in winter months but otherwise, I don't ever want to have to muck another stall without one of these babies.

If the bend in the handle works for you, this is great!
My wife has had one of these Dura-Forks for well over 10 years. We've replaced head on the aluminum handle a few times. These are very sturdy, but sooner or later you're going to break a tine or two. This time I bought a new fork for her and also picked up a replacement head for the one I broke. Personally, I don't care for the bend in the handle, but my wife prefers them to a straight handled fork. They aren't a glamorous purchase, but like any good tool, they pay for themselves in durability. I also use the Dura-Forks with the straight wood handle. They are my preference.

Used for picking up dog poop!
I ordered this to give it a try for picking up dog poop in my yard. I have two large dogs and 4 large granddogs that visit so I was looking for something less cumbersome than using a rake and shovel. This work quite well. It allows for me to easily get under the piles and scoop them up. I wish they made one where the tines were just a little shorter for from added sturdiness but since I am not using it to clean horse stalls, I am happy with it. My daughter is planning on ordering one for her house.

Perfect for cleaning stalls
I've always used a standard stall rake to clean my horses stalls, I borrowed one of these from someone and knew I needed my own. The ergonomic bend gives you a ton of leverage, without adding extra strain on your back and shoulders. I love that it has the cushy grip right at the center, because it helps you to know where to put your hand to get the perfect leverage. The basket isn't anything special, it's just a regular basket, but when it breaks, I will just be replacing the basket and keeping the whole handle.

Foam cracked very first week around handle
The plastic fork part works good and the handle is good. The problem is, the foam padding cracked the first week.I got it. I selected this rake, so my hand did not have to touch the cold metal. Now I have to put duct tape around it.

does the job
At 5' 5" I feel these are almost too long for me, but they definitely get the job done. The forks are surprisingly sturdy for being plastic, and the ergonomic design and grip on the metal handle does make scooping a little easier on the back. Would probably be perfect for someone with a few inches on me. The forks do seem to come loose after a lot of use (as with all tools of this nature), but simply tighten the screw and you're back on your way.
