Mothering Our Boys (US Edition): A Guide for Moms of Sons

She’s direct, helpful, and provides research and ideas for further reading. She covers a lot and includes lots of stuff actual men have said about their mothers that really helps to put things into perspective. A very helpful read for not only understanding my young sons but also my husband!!!

This books is amazing. Highly recommend to anyone with boys or even just wives wanting to understand their husbands lol.

I am not only unhappy with missing out on 87% of this book, but am also getting more frustrated each time I attempt to get help for this problem. Amazon clearly doesn't want to know about the problems.

This book is spot on. I immediately began enjoying my son so much more while reading the book and still to this day. This is a must read for anyone raising boys.

Great book for both parents in understanding raising boys to men.

Wow, as someone who just had her first son, this really brought a deeper appreciation for the joy and responsibility of raising a good, empathetic man. I also love Maggie Dent’s approach to the gender spectrum and helping us be both flexible AND learn about bodies that have testosterone (as people who don’t have it in such quantities). While we strive to be a household that accepts whoever our son is or will be, it helped me learn that as a mother, I have a unique responsibility to learn about these dear boys specifically, and let the rest come when it may. I have also learned a bit about relating to my husband! Overall, one of the top formative parenting books for me. I feel like I have more tools for connecting with and supporting my son through the years.

Loved the sample. I’d love to keep reading, but how do I get the complete Kindle version? It says it’s available but I don’t see an option to buy?

I find this book very eye-opening. It should be read by any mother of boys or educator.
