Islander Hawaiian Hula Implement Poi Ball White

I first learned how to use the Poi balls while I lived in Hawaii. Enjoyed them, but lost them in one of the many moves around the world. Finally found them again and am enjoying relearning how to use them. They are exactly like the ones I bought in Hawaii.

Perfect for working out each morning doing crossovers. I only wish the yarn had a bit more substance to them. Worth the cost

I used these when learning some Maori dances for a production, and had some issues. After learning how to dance with poi balls, after a few months of practice the ball on one of them started to detach and only remained on the handles by a single strand. Overall good use, I'm confident that mine was just a fluke since the other one still hasn't detached after years!

I feel the cords are too thin, and tassels are too small, length is too short. They are just not easy to hold onto as they should be. The weight is hood though

These poi balls are VERY hard, the tassels are loosely woven and when working them the woven part becomes thin and hard to hold. They are also about 4" too short, if these were for a child they should have made that apparent. I'm 5'4" and they were short for me.

The poi balls were just as I expected. My granddaughters love them and are trying to learn the dances we can see on YouTube.

The strings are good size for children to use
