Beware of issues with Shimano compatibility
The description said compatible with Shimano 96BCD cranks, which is what my son has on his hard tail. But the bolt pattern didn't fit his crank set no matter what I tried. It appears to me that the bolt pattern is asymmetrical, whereas my son's crank was symmetrical. So I can't speak to the quality of the material, or the durability of the chainring but beware of potential compatibility issues with Shimano cranksets.

Works great!
Used the 38 tooth ring for a 1x11 build I recently did and so far it is working great! Cranks smooth and no issues with the chain coming off. Seems to be well made. Depending on your setup, it may require spacers to get a proper chain line! Also make sure your bolts are long enough to properly secure the ring to the crank! Threadlocker is a good idea too.

Decent product at an inexpensive price.
I purchased this narrow wide chainring because of its low cost and because I wanted to convert to a 1x setup.It was shipped and arrived quickly in a padded envelope. I was surprised by its light weight. It seemed well constructed, but I wasn’t exactly taken by the design work. I ended up returning it because it didn’t fit my bike. It is 94 BDI and my bike needed a 104 BDI chainring.Stupid me. I live and I learn.

Bling for the buck!
Really great! Haven’t had one chain slip or fall off. Teeth grab great and the red bling factor is awesome. My only note was that I desperately needed longer install bolts. I wouldn’t recommend installing this without purchasing longer bolts and spacers to get your chain line in a better spot.

No threads in bolt holes! Not for XTR
The bolt holes are not threaded! This won’t work on a xtr crankset!
