best kite I ever had.. light weight and extremely stable

This morning was the first chance I've had to test this kite. Wind conditions were perfect and the solo launch went very smoothly!Assembly is very easy, just a case of joining the pre shock corded poles and attaching the line.This kite takes off pretty fast and it has a very strong pull so wear gloves.I used the provided line for the first flight, and used up almost the whole 300 feet, but it took a while to reel back in, so i then swapped for my large winder reel and got it to about 600 feet and it flew almost vertical at that height. I can go to 1300 feet, but thats for another day.Nothing to dislike, except the provided reel is a bit small, so i recommend walking the kite down instead of reeling it in.Not much more to say except this kite is of high quality, and simple to fly. Worth every penny as it will last for years.Get a good winding reel, like the one i have pictured for a bit more control though.

I was looking forward to an excellent flying experience with a well made kite. It was in the air for all of 30 seconds and the main carbon fiber spar broke... was incredibly disappointed.

Prism kites have always had great manufacturing standards and are very well designed. This is a big delta type kite. Wing-tip tails are supplied for higher wind stability but may benefit from 30’ + tube tail at top of the wind range to keep stable. NOT for small children.

This is an excellent kite worth the money

Bought the Prism 5 last year for our holiday at Weston Super Mare to fly on the beach.Was very impressed with the build quality/simplicity to assemble and stability when flying.Have been meaning to get the larger Prism 7 for this year but had difficulty finding sensible price without loaded delivery charges from Amazon.Was mail shot with an offer if I pre ordered and was happy to wait for delivery which was quoted as 6/7 weeks but as felt deal was good placed order.Kite infact arrived in around 3.5 weeks and was around 25% less in price so happy with that.Again not disappointed with kite from Prism.The 7 is noticeably larger and has again a nice solid build feel with neat stitching/strong fittings and fly very easily.Happy with both kites now and just waiting for some decent summer weather to try the 7 at the local beach
