The teatowels are not very good at drying and tend to shed small bits of the cloth onto items you are drying. Clothes were washed before using however we hope that as we carry onwith them they may improve on the drying ability

Interestingly, although other reviews posted before mine mention the 'bits' being left behind by these tea towels, the problem remains understated!As we approach the age of 70 years it is fair to say we know what to expect from a tea towel and bought 12 of these in January 2020. When drying wet crockery, however, these tea towels leave a covering of fine cotton shreds adhering to every item being dried. NOT one or two shreds but a complete dust-like covering.We had hoped the problem to disappear after they had all been thoroughly washed and dried - but were wrong. Now, after 3 months of trying - again and again, we have decided to look elsewhere altogether.I really don't know if all similar tea towels have the same problems but 'The House of Emily' brand really does have a serious problem which needs to be addressed at the point of production.NM

Big & colourful product but not very absorbing. I won't buy them again.
