Now, the important point I must mention (and why I deduct half a star) is that this version of Refresh Tears contains a preservative (PURITE®), although it's one that dissipates upon contact with the eye. For most people, this is not an issue, but if you have a very severe dry eye condition or if your ophthalmologist has strictly advised preservative-free drops (the single-use vials), this is not your option. For me, who only has occasional dryness from the screen, it works well, but it's a vital consideration for other buyers with high sensitivity. Soothes my eyes and use when eye strain from computer gets painful.

These are great for my dry eyes. I do not wear contacts, but I do wear reading glasses and for whatever reason, my eyes are dry a lot - could be because I live in the high desert and / or due to some medications that I take, but regardless, these drops sooth my eyes immediately and it seems to last for quite a long time, several minutes up to several hours. I like to put one drop in each eye before going to bed and it seems to help prevent dry eyes throughout the night and less dry upon awakening in the morning. After trying these I subscribed to have them delivered regularly so I'll never be without them (every six months I think).

Consistency is between watery and gel. Doesn't give blury vision. And it is cheaper than what I had last time. It just for too expensive so I've started these. I had lasik so dry eyes is a bleep. So eyed drops are emptying my pockets more so I do think this double drop is cheap. Also if you've got dry eyes. Grab yourself some high dose of Vitamin A supplements to go with those drops. 1 star removed because the box it came in was in tatters.
