My dog loved them
My dog absolutely loved them! Unfortunately they made him a little bit gassy. That has more to do with is breed than the treats. It didn't upset his stomach or give him any GI issues/diarrhea. Just intermittent assaults to our noses. Might buy again just to make sure it was really the treats, and not something else he had going on at the time

Titus rates 4paws Up
Fresh, clean ingredients- no odor. Tender pieces. Titus drooleth for them. And although he’s allergic to most meats other than venison, this is a viable big treat.

My Foster Dog Loves these treats!
I like venison for dogs. The dog I an fostering loves these treats. They are soft & can be broken into smaller pieces as needed, Good amount in bag so good value for price.

Dry, not soft.
My dog liked them, but they seemed to be very dry, crunchy, not soft. Otherwise decent ingredients. Would’ve preferred organic ingredients, especially the cranberries.

Why Why Why Would You Put MILK in Caru Dog Treats??? Dairy is a Common Allergen for Dogs. UGH!
I guess it's partially my fault. My dog is allergic to all common proteins like MILK, which I have come to understand is the #1 allergy for dogs. I was told by our vet to find training treats that have novel proteins, something weird that my dog wouldn't have eaten before. You know, like alligator.I looked at the ingredient list for Caru but only the first four or five ingredients because who in their right mind would add dairy to a novel protein snack?? The only reason anyone buys this crazy expensive dog treat is because cheaper treats have MILK, beef, chicken or other allergy-inducing ingredients. My dog got pretty sick from the Caru treats. It took me a few days to figure it out. I re-read the label and realized that the geniuses at Caru added "whey protein" (a fancy word for MILK/DAIRY) at the end of the list. Oh, but it's powdered so they can list it lower in the ingredient list. Tricky. If it weren't for Caru's insane addition of milk to these super-expensive treats, I would still consider buying them because they are soft and there isn't much our dog can have (and he isn't alone). But these will make your dog sick if s/he has allergies.I am so disappointed. I guess we will stick to the Smart Cookie Rabbit + Pumpkin treats or the Merrick Power Bites or the Addiction Venison Treats or the Ostrich jerky from now on.P.S. If Caru made our dog allergic to alligator too from their addition of milk to it I am going to be seriously pissed off. GRRRRRRRR!
