Many a time The Awkward Yeti comic has appeared in my Facebook and meme feeds from friends, acquaintances, and suggested posts. While not one of my daily amusements, I realized I had read it enough I should send some appreciation the author's way so he could continue to write this highly entertaining webcomic.So I bought a book with Awkward Yeti, featuring the characters "Heart and Brain" and enjoyed revisiting old FB memes and discovering new comics. The Brain waking the Awkward Yeti in the middle of the night with long-forgotten social disasters. The Heart running off in every direction trying to find its passion. The butterfly drifting through adding lively hope. And a couple times the stomach popping up with its own special demands, such as during a serious discussion about the most pressing questions of the time - world peace, does alien intelligence exists, and should we order nachos or pizza. (both please)If you like Awkward Yeti, send some Heart the author's way by buying one of his books. Or if you find truth in the Awkward Yeti's humor, send some Brain the author's way by posting a review from his book.

I decided to get this book because of the great reviews, but I got disappointed when I read it. The book was OK for me, but the multiple stories were lacking content, and I did not find it so interesting. Not all stories were good or funny, and they were really short (a page each). I guess I was expecting more. I give three stars because the idea was great, and because the drawings were cute and colorful. However, I would not read this book again. In overall, it can be entertaining if you know what to expect.

Absolutely LOVE this book, more pages than I imagined, which is good, because I want to read it cover to cover immediately. Have had to hold myself back and only look at a few pages so I can enjoy it for longer. Laugh out loud funny and sooooooooo relate-able-to. My favourite - so far - how needing a tin of soup turns into having to wear a superman costume. My son says that is so me!!! Not that shopping / work / the real world are boring, oh yes they are! We totally agree with Nick Seluk (Awkward Yeti himself) We, as in, my heart and my brain. Relate-able to a Bipolar outlook on life too. Great vibrant colours and drawings too. Was dubious of buying myself a "comic book" but now want to show it to EVERYONE I know. "Oh, that's just like Sally at the Gym" and "Oh that's just like Kathryn at work" constantly. Brilliant and will buy more, thank you Nick Seluk and Wordery x

Completely charming, with magical anti-depressant properties. Heart and Brain manages to be simultaneously very clever and very simple, and is heartwarming, funny and uplifting to read. Little Heart is adorable, childlike and irresponsible, and a great role model for those of us whose lives have become a bit too much Brain and not enough Heart!This book is a great offline introduction to the cartoons on the Awkward Yeti website (do yourself a favour and check out greedy Tongue and cute little Gall-bladder, among a growing cast of characters!)/

I bought this book after stumbling upon it looking for something else. Since buying it I have recommended it to many others, and given as gifts to a few people (some who are coaches). They all love it! It gives us a laugh, but it also helps us stand back from our thoughts, emotions and actions at times and realise what is (sort of) going on. A truly priceless book.

I adore Heart and Brain. I found out about this comic online and spent hours going through them and others from the Awkward Yeti bunch, I just had to see "one more"!I have ordered this book as a gift for a friend of mine and honestly, it will take a lot for me to actually part with it or not order one for myself! It's quite chunky and filled with wonderful comics. I can't imagine a single person who wouldn't be able to relate to it or wouldn't end up chuckling as they're leafing through. It's brilliant!
