Excellent Wire Stripper and Cutter!
The Klein Tools 11061 Self-Adjusting Wire Stripper / Wire Cutter is a fantastic tool! It makes stripping wire so much easier and faster. The self-adjusting feature works great, automatically adapting to different wire sizes (from 10-20 AWG solid and 12-22 AWG stranded wires), which saves a lot of time and effort. It handles Romex wires (12/2 and 14/3) with ease and provides clean, precise cuts every time. The heavy-duty build feels sturdy and comfortable in hand, and the ergonomic handles make it easy to use for extended periods without discomfort. If you need a reliable and efficient wire stripper/cutter for your electrical work, I highly recommend this tool! It’s worth every penny.

Must have wire stripper
I'm am pleased with this wire stripping tool, makes the cut precise and I am not an Electrician. I watch YouTube on how to replace wall outlets and light switches and having tools used on the program sure makes completing a job safely and professional and saving yourself hundreds of dollars a Pro-tech would charge.

Great product for the money.
The cut quality is really good, a very strong durable blade, cuts every time. I like the functionality, it’s both effective and really satisfying stripping wire. The rubber grips help ensure a tight solid pull. It has a little wheel so you can adjust the tension, I have mine maxed out and I use it to strip the white coating from cat5 and the white coating and black and red coating from 18-2 wire. On 18-2, it can strip 2 wires at once. The size is relatively compact for what it is and fits nicely on my tool vest

Trial and Error Adjustment
For years as a DIYer I've used a, "select the gauge" wire stripper. Without knowing the gauge you can cut too much into the insulation, more of a problem with stranded. I usually start with a larger gauge and work down. They can also tell you the wire gauge by the hole size needed for a proper strip. Good to know when calculating amperage. I wanted to treat myself to this "self adjust" stripper. BUT, it's also a bit of a trial and error tool, especially for how much stripped wire it exposes. I would say if you're stripping a lot of wires of the same gauge then this is your tool for speed. And it also strips Romex, a plus in a single tool, but I also have a Romex stripper, so no big deal for me. The gauge tension knob has no markings other than +/-. It's also very small for fat fingers and nothing locks it in place. The length of strip adjustment knob is also small but less of a bother as it's on or off. The wire cutter blades are sharp, but mine rubbed on the outer tips which marred the steel edges, but that's not where the wire is cut, so I don't see a problem. Usual Klein quality. Would I buy another? Probably not, given how much wire I strip.

Amazing. A real game changer for most wire stripping needs
Man am I glad I got this guy. I've been using the standard wire strippers with the specifically sized, sharpened holes (you know the type) for years and years and have always just thought they were a big pain. Even ones from good brands had a nasty habit of cutting into fine stranded wires so I would have to either use a bigger slot or the correct size slot, but not closed all the way to score around the insulation and then tear it the rest of the way off. What a pain. This one is 100 times easier. As long as you stay within its capacity it has absolutely no problem stripping fine stranded or solid core wire. And there's not really any adjustments or care needed with regard to gauge, as long as you are under a certain size. There is a tension knob that I think is supposed to fine tune it to certain gauges, but I never bother. It's not intuitive at all as to what it even does. Anything below 10 awg strips easily (except for some multi-conductor wires) and 10 is alright too sometimes, though the thicker the wire the harder it is to get a specific amount of insulation off. There's also the little depth stop thing that really helps keep the amount of insulation removed over a number of wires the same, which is super nice. It itself is kind of a pain to adjust though. The locking screw for it seems really inconsistent as to how much you need to loosen before it'll move. Overall though, for pretty much any wire smaller than 10awg (and occasionally 10awg) and single conductor (and sometimes multiple), this is a completely brilliant stripper and you totally need one.
