Quality control so-so but good latch otherwise.
I only needed two of these and that’s a good thing, because two of them work as expected and the other two the latch isn’t quite sized correctly, so it does not pivot easily. This means it doesn’t fall down as it should around the arm of the latch. If I needed all four, I’m sure I could wrangle them into loosening up, but fortunately not an issue for me.The two that work are really nice and seem plenty sturdy. They are both in covered areas so I don’t know how they’ll hold up to the elements, but I am overall happy. Would have been five stars if all four had worked.

These worked perfect for me! I was selling my house and the gate lock broke and I needed to repair it quickly. I ordered these and received in 2 days. Great packing. I needed two and this came with four, so great value! They were still less than buying ONE locally, which they were all out of anyway! Nice sturdy heavy duty! I kept the other two for future use of something else, if needed at my new house. My original were a stainless steel. These are a glossy painted black. Not sure how long the paint will stay on, before it chips off... but I moved!

Sometimes it's FUNCTION over FASHION.
I had to build a double feeding station for my 2 cats. Each cat is on a different Rx diet. I believe in free feeding. The latches are replacing Velcro ties that were a pain in the asset to use. The latches hold the servant's entrance door closed. EVERYTHING is put together with zip ties. That part wasn't easy.

We used one on the top and 1 on the bottom
We made a homemade gate out of the same material we used for our pence which was cattle panel. My husband framed the cattle panel in 2 by fours and then put one of these latches at the top and 1 latch at the bottom It works great for such a large Gate with no sagging
