Coat Defense 793597086495 Daily Preventative Powder 24 oz

The product is fantastic - I buy this often for my horses legs as we live in a muddy area. However, this is the second time I have received my order and the top has popped off in transit and spilled the powder all over the inside the shipping box. The container really needs to be taped closed with packing tape before shipping. I have been able to pour most of it back into the container, but this mess is too expensive to be losing half of your product.

2words: The Best! This powder worked within 1 day. My horse had rain rot from a place I boarded him at temporarily. I tried different products... I should have used this first. It soothed his skin and started getting rid of the rain rot very quickly, like within 12 hours. I’m going to use it twice a week until it’s all gone. I am so impressed!

Bought for my Appy who get rain rot during winter. I just started using this product and after the first application I noticed a huge difference. It smells like minty foot powder lol, but seems to really sooth her skin. It did not help with the flaky skin on her tail head but absolutely help it to not itch. I use baby oil on her tail on and off and switch between that and this product to prevent from rubbing her tail. I will continue to purchase this product. Love it!

I think this powder really does help my mare's fly allergy! I rub or curry-comb it onto the parts of her body that are exposed between her fly sheet and her shoo-fly leggins, mostly her upper legs, her udder area, and her inner thighs. Before I used Coat Defense, she had several rubbed/scabby spots. Those spots noticeably reduced. I believe the powder is soothing to her itches as well. Her coat is "tight" not fluffy so it's hard to get the powder on sometimes - I rub it in as best I can but on vertical areas like upper legs I feel like I lose some of the powder to gravity. Curry comb is a good applicator for her back and sides, neck and haunches. I've used it for about a month now and just ordered my second container. I can't apply it daily as I don't see her every day, but even 4 times a week has made a difference.

This stuff is amazing. We have a horse that gets rain rot as soon as fall/winter hits. And since it is cold, we really don't want to use a liquid solution. I had read a lot of reviews and decided to try it. GREAT STUFF. Got rid of the rain rot.

Horses live out year round...no grooming or bathing in winter, always end up with some rain rot and funk...this one can was plenty to treat borne horses 3 times and within 10 days funk gone and summer coat is in...it feels immediately cool to the touch when applied, just rub it in a bit and reapply every few days highly recommend

When it arrived the container was open and all over inside the package. The company did give me my money back but I was able to salvage some to use. The product itself is great and has helped my mare stop itching her butt on posts all the time. I was just hope the company considers an alternative way to ship so there's chances of a mess. I'll get more when I need more.

Great product!!!! Has decreased issues with skin and prevented bacteria and fungus. -Thickness and warmth don’t really apply bc this is a powder for horses not a coat!
