msi VESA Mounting Adapter Plate (AG242M5)

Very good build quality. Price is a little high, but it is an authentic part from MSI. Works just as expected and is has multiple pre drilled holes for different mounting options.

Little bit expensive ngl but it is definitely worth it to be able to mount your monitor to an arm. It is a very sturdy plate so don't worry about the sturdiness. I currently have it mounted to a dual monitor arm and it works flawlessly. Just wish it came included with my G24C but oh well!

I wanted to wall mount my MSI Optix MAG341CQ monitor, to clear up desk space. Well, since this is made by MSI, for MSI monitors, it makes sense that it would work. Does the job. Easy to install, and works with pretty much any wall mount.

Thanks MSi. $25 hunk of metal that should have been included with G24C I purchased. I have installed a two arm monitor stand originally having only one screw mounting my monitor. Realized only after 2 months that $25 upgrade to the screw was necessary. The AG242M5 (in Black) has a similar weight in comparison to the original stand in which I can't stand to think after this review since I am now realizing what is/was happening to me at this moment.

I got this for my MSI Optix Mag341CQ 34" to mount a monitor arm to and it was perfect! Nother had to be ground down or modified in any way. While shopping, I came across a 3D printed vesa mount on sale at another site which I don't recommend at all. It's called a mount for a reason and you'll need it to be solid. Props to MSI on the quality but the price is on the high side.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I have a Viotek monitor that looks almost identical to the MSI monitors. Needed a VESA mount so I can use dual monitors. This piece is solid metal and holds my monitor perfectly.

simple, easy and works great! 4 stars for value for money, because let's face it... this thing is a stamped chunk of steel and should be selling for $9.99 to $14.99.

I was using this amount, for my MSI monitor, and the monitor was secured in place but there was one big issue it seemed to tug the bottom of the mount slowly since it was a dual monitor mount and so it ended up messing up the level of the mount by a lot. It affected the amount so much that when I bought a new monitor to replace my MSI one I was not able to properly align the two monitors on the mount even though they were the exact same monitor.

It’s a great product and works wonderfully. Although, I’m not very happy about the price nor availability. It should’ve come with the monitor.

Super sturdy and thickness is perfect. It is very easy to install onto any compatible MSI monitor, but the price is a problem. It should not be worth over $15 for a piece of metal.

This mount serves the purpose for my PC monitor wall mount.
