Coolpad Mega 2.5D (Champagne-Gold)

I have purchased this for my dad in the first flash sale and he seemed happy with the phone.Been using it for the past 15 days and the experince is satisfactory1. Build quality is good and it feels light.My honor 5x feels heavy when i use it after handling this phone.2. Display is not full hd. But it offers crisp and clear screen. Ok for the price3. No lag observed till now. On the first day, the three touch buttons below stuck for a minute and i thought of replacing the phone. But after they started working, it never happened again and everything is smooth.4. You can get some 10gb out of 16 and its ok as all other phones with 16 gb give around the same 10 or 11 gb available space.5. The other thing that's great about this phone is that i haven't observed any heating problem even after playing games over wifi. Even my honor 5x heats up a bit after playing continuously for more than an hour. But this phone just warms up and i never felt it unbearable.6. Battery backup is quite good.Charges up quickly7. Cam quality is okFor someone who needs a decent phone under 10k, this is a good choice.

Guys, like you people I was very much reluctant to go for this phone by reading all those reviews earlier. Dont get stuck with those comments, believe me its an awesome mobile to keep and do daily activities, at the same time it may not be enough for heavy users, as it tends to lag a little(negotiable) and average battery life (but good enough for average users like me).PROS:- Awesome design and feels good in hand- Light weight but little big to hold- Good build quality and display- User interface and themes are cool- Curved glass gives a premium look- Nice pair of headphones- Decent battery life- Decent camera for this price rangeCONS:- Speaker is not loud enough if you keep the speaker at desk- Little lag in the performance- You cant get tempered glass for the whole screen as the sides are curved (but i love the arc)On the whole its such a nice phone to buy without hesitation for users like me (a reasonable smarphone user)

These mobile fully specs out on paper. But on the hands?Let's find outFirst of all this a good mobile for average user you play some light titles on it. And the camera it is superb at this price point and the selfie camera also Good it also have manual controls in rear camera for photo but not like Honor 6x and cool 1. And here it comes the build quality at this price point the build quality is awesome because it was so premium looking.its 2.5D curved glass was awesome.Let's come into cons:Display it is not accurate and it is only 720p and it's saturation and contrast and sharpness is very low if you use it in sunlight the display is totally washed out.*Performance it is not hardcore chip it only packed in quad core processor but not efficient as Snapdragon chips* Battery life is not good it not last me full day because I always streaming 360p video's but on some other mobiles we get average use of a full day.At the end of the day.if you are a normal user who wants android experience go and pick it upIf you are a hardcore user go and pick Redmi 3s.Hope you guys liked it

Pros.1.Excellent HD display. Display can be compared to premium phones of Samsung and Motorola.2.Extremely light weight3.Elegant and beautiful design. You will be surprised that a 7000 phone has such a beautiful design and elegance.Trust me it looks better than a 20K phone.4.Price is only 7000 INR which is surprising for such a good phone.5.Curved 2.5 D glass makes it great for multi media and gaming purpose.6.Beautiful and rich UI. Easy to navigate. The UI is neat with user friendly design.Looks premium and elegant.Cons1.Processor is not very powerful being a mediatech processor.Some lag is there while playing heavy games.2.Camera is average .Front one is good though for selfie lovers.3.It says 3 GB ram but only 2 GB is available most of the time.Rest of the RAM is occupied by processes running in the background.Thats it guys. Go for it. Some people have complaints that battery backup is not good. I never had any problem with the battery. Its good enough for entire day use if you use is moderately.I strongly recommend this phone in the budget segment. The other option is redmi 3s with finger print sensor. But again both the phones have their pros and cons. If I to chose any one between redmi 3s and coopad mega 2.5 D i will go for coolpad mega 3.5 DThanks

Latest Review.I'm writing this again after few days of usage, battery is very worst, not even staying a day. What's the use of the phone which has not got the juice to keep it live. I hate charging every now and then. I'm returning this product. Not happy with battery/juice. If this is the case in the beginning days, understand what would happen over a period of time like a year after battery cycles usage. I dont want this pathetic situationEarlier Review:I bought this for my wife, she liked it very much. Its looks and design are premium, very light weight, gold color adds more to it, display always looks live and even at low brightness, doesn't heat in use of these few days. camera is good compared to others in this range and you wont be disappointed. I'm not sure about battery performance as its 2500 only and will know over the period. I would recommend this to buy for its looks, lightweight, camera, display, pretty light to hold in hands, 2.5 d is very smooth and feels nice with touch.
