Just one of the several uses I have put these to. I don't mind not having any power buses as it allows me to customize my layout. I use Vector T107 bus strips for power distribution. Very good value compared to buying brand name prototyping boards. My only con is the smaller ones are setup for 2mm hardware which is very difficult for me to come by. I use a couple of incremental drill sizes to slowly increase the hold size until it just fits a 4-40 screw which I can buy along with standoffs at my local hardware store.

Good variety of sizes and dimensions, and they are indeed through hole plated pads. If you intend to use these for projects where you're going to solder things on and then leave them, these work great. However, if you're going to be making projects where you plan on repeat soldering, removing components and resoldering others, you may have some difficulty with this product like i did. Had a really difficult time desoldering components from these boards without having to resort to brute force yanking things off even after wicking away solder etc. The pads just aren't conducive to repeat soldering attempts and you may damage some components trying to do so with these boards.

What a great deal here. The boards themselves have been a joy to work with so far, and they take solder readily. The addition of the male and female 2.54mm headers makes this the perfect kit to buy for prototyping beyond a breadboard. If I had to complain about something, it would be the screw terminals are awfully small... but guess what? They are exactly as advertised, and I can't hold anyone responsible for my own mental mistakes! But, even for their size, I was able to screw in 12V, 5V, and GND molex lines from a computer power supply. Just don't tin the ends and you're good to go!I will probably end up purchasing another ones of these in the near future just to have. I'd hate to see this deal on quality gone when I really need it.

Quality PCBs of various size for prototyping. One note on cutting these, i used tin snips to cut the board, which worked, but it created slight splinters at the edge (you'll notice on the 2nd image of the back of PCB) and slightly warped the board. They were not so stiff as to shatter and were easy to bend back to form. Sandpaper cleaned up the edges nicely. In the future I'll make sure to use a fine saw which I'm sure will be better than the snips. The hole grid is as described, and the pre-tinned plated holes makes it easy to solder on components. I've had no issues clearing and re-soldering components on the board.

The plating on these is a little thin, nothing new there for boards of this type at this price level. All pads on the 10 or so I looked at were at least adequately plated for easy soldering, and all the drilled holes were accurately centered. Would buy again.As with all boards of this type, it's best give them a brushing with stainless steel wool before starting a project to remove oxidation and solder-resistant stuff that may have accumulated. Many of boards in the pack were connected to each other with tape for easy packaging. There was a small amount of tape stickum stuck to a few of the pads on some board that was easily removed that way.

The assortment of sizes is nice. There are boards for projects of just a couple of small ic's up to much larger projects. THe boards are sturdy and attractive and the solder pads are well-done. The boards are gridded abce1234 in x/y coordinate so you can navigate your wiring a bit easier. I'm using one small one this weekend to hang a 1/2 meg upgrade in my Atari 800xl. A photo will follow.

They are what they say they are. I've prototyped items for a few Arduino projects on these, and also to hold relays in a high voltage power supply (the circuit board were in the low voltage control area). Easy to solder onto, there's no issue with trace adhesion to the boards, the metal is firmly attached. Soldering has been easy as expected. All boards were clean and ready to use upon arrival. Packaging was tight and minimal, something I appreciate -- minimum waste for this product's packaging, but still appropriately solid cardboard box.

This product arrived ahead of time promised and worked very well for the project I had in mine. I would recommend this product very highly. Am well pleased. I am going to put another order in very soon.
