Great towel dispenser for the counter top
Nice paper towel dispenser! I use it on the counter, not wall mounted at home. It looks nice and would buy another. (except there on backorder!) Paid $14.17 worth it! I have read reviews that this style when mounted on the wall, doesn't dispense easily when trying to remove a paper towel from the bottom, I tried to remove some from the bottom and its true, paper towel rips a little every time (at least with the thick 2-ply folded paper towels I use). I removed the nice shiny bottom piece because I just wanted the wood look, nice either way! Gave it 5 stars because its perfect for my needs (counter top) and is so much nicer than expected!

nice esthetic
the piece itself is very nice and well made. However you may have to experiment with the right paper towl to use. I used the cheap z fold and they don't dispense easily.

Beautiful unit, terrible execution
Like it's already been said, beautiful unit, terrible execution because when hung and pulled from the bottom through the slit, the paper towel tears. I pulled about 5 out to see how many I'd have to pull before I get a full towel but stopped at the 6.At first I tried this by it sitting it on a counter, mimicking a tissue box, pulling from the slit at the top and it worked perfectly. Once about a quarter of the towels had been pulled, the next towel stays in the box rather than pulls through the slit ready for the next pull, which means you have to put your fingers in the slit to get a towel out, doing it this way you tend to grab more than what you need just to get a grip.Tried it that way first because I didn't want to knock nail holes into the owner's property. After experiencing that tissue box-style only worked for the first quarters towels in the unit, I remembered seeing reviews where when hung the towels tear when you pull. So I placed the box on the wall, no nails, and then pull from the slit at the bottom and that's when I found out that yep, these towels tear when you pull from the bottom.

Really great looking holder!
It's perfect for any room. It was priced better than a plastic one I purchased, and the plastic one was for slim towels, not regular size.Looks nice, upside down on the kitchen counter!

Does not work
Very nice looking dispenser. It looks like all the efforts were spent making it look nice leaving nothing to make it functional. The slot at the bottom is too narrow side-wise to let towels go easily. It is impossible to pull them down without tearing apart. Completely useless dispenser.

Good quality and well designed paper dispenser
Very happy with the JackCube paper towel dispenser. quality material and nice design. Only negative is that it is just on the small side for V Fold paper towels, but it can still go in but paper sits in a curved shape, but the dispensing sheet by sheet works fine. Looks good in the kitchen wall.
