GHOST CONTROLS LLC CKBT Chicken coop Opener

Installed the system, at the end the arm did not work. Called Ghost Controls. They trouble shot with me, then sent me a new working arm. Works great. Thanks for the great customer service Ghost Controls!!!

Are you tired of rushing home at dusk? I sure was. This door is amazing and makes life so much easier! I set my door to automatically open an hour after sunrise and to close 15 min after sunset. The beep trains the chicks to enter in time but I believe mine will usually do so before the beeping starts. I have the solar add on so no power worries. I close the door with the manual button when I’m filling the feeder so the girls don’t swarm me while I’m trying to work in the coop. This automatic door is really strong. I have raccoons that live in my yard unfortunately, and they cannot possibly open this door. You can attach the arm to a wood door but my husband (who isn’t enthusiastic about my chickens) bought diamond plate aluminum because he said he’s making a door one time and not going to worry about wood rotting. We took a week long vacation out of state, and NO worries about the chickens. I filled up a 50 lb gravity feeder inside, a garden hose float switch in my waterer outside... and that’s it. The Coop Control let them out and locked them safely every night. My neighbor came by to collect eggs every day or so, but that wasn’t even necessary. I can’t imagine an easier way to care for backyard chickens.
