Bought this to hook to my iHome device and to charge several devices at the same time. I haven’t really been successful getting my phone to communicate with the iHome, but being able to charge my phone, tablet and a watch all at the same time makes it worth it to me. The fan, though audible, is not a factor to worry about. It is quiet enough and does not interfere with sleeping. The blue LED’s are bright enough to act as a kind of night light too. The price was good for this and it shipped pretty quickly. I also like the metal case, feels more rugged and not as likely to break if I travel with it. I see another one in the near future for me.

I purchased this powered hub to run several USB mining sticks. The sticks draw over 2 Amps. This hub powers four sticks well. It also includes a cooling fan which is important for something that stays on 24x7. The case is metal, with slide switch to turn the hub off. The 10 Amp power brick does not get hot -- like some of the others that I have used. A USB cable to connect to the computer is included.This is an excellent hub! Just remember that it is USB 2.0.

This was used for usb crypto miners and did the job well. I would highly recommend this. I ran 4 of them overclocked with a fan mounted over them and never had any issues. I used this with windows and a raspberry pi as a controller.

Not sure if I just got a bad unit but I used it for about a month and as of this morning the entire unit is just dead. Didn't use more than 4 ports and very little power draw so I have no idea how it failed.

This is the PERFECT answer to my needs. I have been having issues with multiple external hard drives on my computer. This keeps adequate power to ALL drives the whole time.

I'm running four Moonlander 2s in the hub. They have been running for nine days at 924Mh/s without a bobble. Hard error rate under .5%. All of which means the hub is providing the advertised 2.1 amps to the USB ports and that the power supply is clean and stable.

I currently mainly use this to power 3 mechanical (not solid-state) hard drives via USB connection.I also have connected keyboards, mice, Cameras, and Memory sticks!I will update this if anything changes If the product is still available.

I purchased this product because I needed a USB hub that supplied 2 amps to each USB port. I have ran it continuously since the day I got it (5weeks ago) and it has worked as expected. I would not hesitate to purchase a second one if needed.
