Excellent resource. I purchased a farm to table book hoping for some options and details regarding different culling processes, because you would assume a farm to table guide would provide all the steps needed to get the livestock turned into a meal. However, the book left out a key part of these instructions. HOW TO CULL THE ANIMALS. I’m a relatively new livestock owner, so I am familiar with the processes on a general basis, but I wanted to see options and details as what works well for some may not for others. This book does an excellent job of that. Very pleased with my purchase.

I think this is a very good book for anyone to have that’s interested in this sort of thing
I really like this book it has a lot of photos and Step-by-step how to. It’s definitely a great book for beginners on up. It shows you how to butcher the animals what spices to use how to store things properly where to find the cuts you want just everything really. It’s definitely good for people that are trying to get Away from the overly processed foods with all the added sugar and wheat in garbage that is getting put in food nowadays

Outstanding book. Top to bottom detail. Killing, cleaning, butchering, storing. Different methods of preserving. Even detailed about wild game. Highly recommend this book for anyone interested in dealing with their own meat products.

Good for novice hunters but not for sausage makers.
Was not what I was looking for. Book was very informative and detailed about butchering animals but I was looking for a book on making sausages. Very little information on actually making sausage.Should just be titled Butchering, Smoking and Curing animals. Nothing on Sausage or Jerky.
