I bought this product because I knew I was going to be smoking a pig for a large group and wanted to be sure I got the pig to the right temperatures. I received the product and uploaded the "BBQ Mate" app to my phone as per the instructions in the owners manual. The device and phone app seemed to be working just fine and I looked forward to the actual application on the pig in a few weeks. When the day came to smoke the pig I continued to receive a message that the bluetooth was not connecting. I consulted the owner's manual and to find there were no tips on how to resolve this issue. I decided to delete the app from my phone and reinstall it. After deleting the app I went to the app store and searched for "BBQ Mate" only to be told there were no search results. The app I had previously put on my phone no longer existed. I was not happy. While the thermometers still worked, I was not able to bluethooth to my phone which meant I was not able to set any of the temperature alarms etc. At the time, and even since, I have not researched to see if there is another app that would work to connect to my phone via bluetooth. Even if there is another app that does work, I shouldn't have to research it in order for this product to work as the owners manual instructed. I would have given this product only one star except that the thermometers did work despite not having the app for my phone.I’ve changed my mind. After attempting to make contact with the seller and explaining the problem all I got was an email response saying they’d pass it on to their techs and get back to me. No word since.

This is the biggest POS product I have ever gotten. The app that goes with this is not available in the US. Do not, repeat, do not waste your money on this product. It does not work correctly. I ended up smashing mine on the patio deck.

Download the app from the App Store and it's easy to pair and use. The app is great as you can walk off and still keep an active eye on temperature being away.

Bluetooth doesnt work every probe was 30 degrees off tried getting a replacement or a refund nothinh back junk

Worked great until 3 probes failed. Lasted 1.5 months

Well, mine arrive broken (the swing stand on the back), and the screen is scratched up and it won't connect to my Bluetooth. I think I got a used / returned item. I bought it new though. Ether way when I try to connect to it my phone it tells me I have an "incorrect PIN or Password" whatever that means...there is nowhere to put in a pin or password (tried 3 phones laying around all newer Android).

Worked great my first cook, second cook had troubles connecting to my phone, and temp readout was way off for the first 20 minutes of cook, then started working. Third cook app no longer works on my iPhone and temp readout way off again. Looking for a new one one now. This thing is junk
