im a long distance runner and have been struggling with tendinitis in the back of my knee for months. i have tried five different braces and none worked for various reasons- until this one!! it’s great! the brace fits very comfortably, miraculously stays up and well placed, and the additional straps provides even more support and compression right where i need it (something none of the other braces did). last week i ran a 50k trail marathon and this brace helped get me through it with no problems or pain. very pleased and can’t recommend this enough. for reference: my leg is like 17’ish inches around the thigh, due to the chart i should have been a large but got the medium for more compression and to ensure it stays up. it fits very well and is still comfortable in the thigh, which is pretty thick.

I am absolutely amazed at the difference the sleeves have made in my comfort and mobility. I have severe arthritis, multiple tears in both meniscus, synovitis, and frequent bleeding in the knee joints and surrounding tissues. Constant pain and swelling in both knees has kept me in a wheelchair for the last 6 years since I am not a candidate for surgery. Recently a brace fabricator tried to make custom braces but each product has been unsatisfactory. I was not hopeful that there would be any product that would help me. But I was wrong! When I first put the Athledic sleeves on, the compression was comforting and provided a sense of security. The ability to adjust the placement and tension of both straps provided superior support and customization. It took a few hours but the pain level was decreased in each knee by at least half of what it had been. After a couple of days of wearing the sleeves I couldn't believe how much the swelling had decreased. I have been able to stand and actually walk short distances. The sleeves prevented the hyperextension in one knee that has been a persistent problem. I now have hope and a reason to believe that the compression, support, and adjustibility of the sleeves will produce even greater results in my comfort and mobility. Every similar product in the past has slipped out of place, lost elasticiy, and failed to produce results. Just the opposite with the Athledic sleeves so far. I have no words to describe the difference the sleeves have made in my comfort and quality of life each day, and expect even greater results with time.

Great knee brace for medium support, right between light and heavy-duty options. If you train intensely and frequently, you’ll need to replace it about every nine months. I don’t mind, because it provides solid support without limiting mobility. Most knee braces are either too light or too bulky, but this one is just right. I've purchased multiple of these over the years.

Received my brace and wore it for the first time for a 3 mile run. Before I get to that, I want to mention fit, quality and proper use (how to wear). I measured my leg, per the instructions provided on the order page. The instructions are clear and thankfully, the fit is perfect. The quality of the brace is top notch. It feels sturdy but not bulky. The seams are smooth and the Velcro is not in a spot that may cause a problem with rubbing. The instructions included for use are straightforward and concise. I even received a follow up email from the vendor with more detailed info and instructions. So, how did it feel and work? My knee pain is pretty severe if I don’t use anything to support it. I’ve been using and enjoying knee tape. But, as great as it works for me, it’s expensive and disposable. This sleeve really helped on my run! My knee didn’t hurt and it didn’t feel swollen or “heavy” afterwards. The sleeve didn’t move around and, for the most part, didn’t rub in the wrong way. I felt a little binding just behind my knee due to the straps but it’s probably because I never have anything behind my knee. I’m hopeful I’ll get used to it. Overall, I think this is going to be a great replacement for tape. I am concerned with longevity though but only time will tell. I’m training for a marathon so it’s going to get a lot of use. I’ll update this review as my runs get longer. I highly recommend this sleeve if you’re experiencing pain and want to remain active. I was really surprised at the comfort, not only of the sleeve but the lack of pain I experienced. I’m placing an order for another, for my other knee!

The support and stability this brace provide is great. Nice snug fit and easy to use. Velcro seems very tight as well.

I am tall, so the other braces I tried did not give enough support. This one reached well below my knee and well above as well. And the straps that wrap around the leg and attach at the top, once attached you can adjust where it should be below the knee to give you the most support. It works so great I ordered another one! 😃

Worn about 3 weeks 50 hours a week. If you have thick thighs and are active this may not be for you. I have thick thighs and squeeze the fat into it. It is now starting to roll and slide down but it's been under heavy use. Must be worn against the skin. Have tried putting it over multiple types of leggings-does not work. I don't like that the staps cross behind the knee but dont notice it once I get moving. It definitely does it's job and I have noticed a big difference in lack of knee pain since wearing it.
