Taste great / less filling
Product is still great quality & taste. Not sure how long I can say this with the civil unrest in that area.

A Flavor So Wonderful You'll Never Forget It
As a coffee lover, once you've experienced Douwe Egberts, all else pales in comparison. As many reviewers have already stated, my wife and I tasted this coffee in a fine dining establishment and had to know what it was. Since then, when we happen upon it in our travels, we know it immediately by the distinctive, pleasing aroma and taste. As a matter of fact, whether or not Douwe Egberts is served has become a major rating criterion for us when considering dining establishments. I have been on pins and needles awaiting its arrival and ran at once to the coffee maker after ripping open the mailing container. I am not disappointed and I am savoring my first cup as I write this review. BUY SOME! You'll be glad you did.

Favorite coffee
I love Douwe Egberts brand and this variety is my favorite. It is a medium blend so flavorful without being bitter.

Coffee very plain taste
We have loved this coffee for years and recently the restaurants that we go to have changed their brand, so our son purchased this coffee for us as a gift. Opening the coffee it smells WONDERFUL, we made the coffee different ways and each time it was made in a dripped and percolated coffee makers the flavor was not there, very blah, nothing like the restaurants. We questioned the waitress when we visited our restaurant and she told us how they made it and we did the same thing. The flavor was not there, very disappointed.

I just started drinking coffee, with this specific brand, and version, suggested to me, by my boss at work. I have never drank coffee. The aroma, is awesome, when it starts to percolate in my Mr. Coffee, (Yeah, I bought a small one on here, also!). It has a depth of flavor, and I don't use much per each time I make this. When I was kid, I used to love coffee candy. Now as an adult, I add just a bit of sugar, and I get flashbacks of this delicacy in candy, that I used to enjoy.
