Adult Black Knee Pads for Dancers, Black

I need these because I'm on a hip-hop team and we frequently go to the floor. However, kneeling down once causes the back to roll down and cut off circulation. They're totally inflexible. I'm going to try to wear them but they may just sit unused forever.

Bought them for pole but I haven't used them for floorwork yet. When i tried them on they fit well. Bought a large and I typically wear size small (5'3" 130lbs). Will update if necessary.

I'm normal sized with normal sized legs IMO (5'3, 125lbs) and the large fits fine. I said the product fit "somewhat small" since I'm not usually a "large" in apparel (in the USA anyway). If in doubt, I'd say to size up. The pads themselves fit pretty comfortably and keep my knees from getting all bruised up.

I have a very small adult frame (5'0", 100 lbs.), and ordered a small, as opposed to my usual XS for other clothing. These were VERY tight and uncomfortable—unwearable for their purpose. Shipping was fast and they were otherwise as described, but I would have gone a size up. Disappointing as there are no returns so I'll have to end up donating and buy new ones elsewhere.

It's very comfortable. I have 128 pounds and I measure 5'4", and I bought the size L, It was perfect!!!

I needed knee pads for pole floor work and I was a little concerned that I would not be able to find some that would fit me comfortably and be the right size since I have wider calves and am a baby plus size. These are amazing, they fit perfectly and with just one use they seemed to form to me better and were not slipping at all!

For reference, I'm 5' 2", about 125 lbs., and got a small. However, I have been dancing for 40 years so my calves are pretty... um, mighty. They tend to cut in to my legs a bit so next time I'll get medium. These lasted about five months, I'm going to a floor flow class once a week and for a couple months, also one pole class a week. They are starting to separate in the middle, and although they are still protecting my knees, I'm going to upgrade and spend a little extra to see if another brand holds up better.

Overall, the knee pads are adequate for pole dance and floorwork but a few critiques:1. Product is slightly smaller than usual fits. I'm a true medium and ordered a large.2. The knee pads are bulky and inflexible. It took a while for me to break them in and even then, I can't use them to grip the pole at the back of my knees - not because of the material, but because I can't bend my knee completely in them.3. The inside of the pads rub against my knee and after long periods of use, will leave scrape marks.This was my first knee pad purchase so I'd say they do the job for now but they are not an investment and thus I will not be purchasing a second pair.
