AWW! The Mega Stinger

Great little helicopter. So far it has survived the 150 lb. German Shepard.

My children (ages 11 and 13) each received one as a Christmas gift and we all thought they were awesome! And I'll note that we have not had flying toys before, so they were both inexperienced. The helicopter is somewhat delicate, and it takes practice to fly it properly. The cage on one of ours did break after a particularly hard landing, but a small piece of electrical tape did the trick and it continues to fly. It's a neat little thing but it's not a rough and tumble toy. The box says Ages 14+ but I think a careful 10 year old might be able to handle it. And now that I've discovered the cost was *only* $40 I'm really impressed. As I said, they were both gifts, and I had guessed/feared that this person had probably spent $75 on each one, and so now that I see they were forty bucks a piece, I'm even happier.

This a a very nice toy especially for someone just picking up flying RC toys. However the prices here are way higher than what you could get at a store near you. I've bought and gifted a few of these and was trying to find more online for more gifts, but I might just run to the store and save myself $20-25 a pop. Yes I found them for as low as $19.99 at Costco and right now they are going for $25 at Microcenter. 5 stars for the product, but 2 for the price.

This "toy" is listed by Amazon as suitable for ages 5 years of age and up. In view of the nature of the item and this age listing, I bought it for my 6 year old grandson for Christmas. However,when I received the order and I opened the package, I was astounded to find that the manufacturer set the age suitability at 14 years or older.Therefore, everypne should be forewarned. This is not for younger children. Amazon or the supplier should correct this listing and make suitable restitution. (But, I suppose, that is another matter.) Just be careful about the age of the person who is to use this product. It may be a great item, but not for 5 year olds.

Very easy to use. I read some reviews saying it was sort of difficult to use, We bought it for our 8 year old nephew who mastered it in about an hour in a room full of people.

This item is so much fun. I gave it to my brother and his 5 year old son as a gift for Christmas and they had a blast with it. However, after about 5 minutes, one of the small plastic pieces on the inside had broken off and they couldn't use it any more. I think that the piece is fixable though with a little super glue.

I gave this to my 23 yr old son for xmas. He's driving me crazy with it! It's always hovering over my head. He loves it! He's just a big kid.

Cheaply made; ours broke in a few days. NO return information is included with the toy.
