Last year I spent nearly a month in hospital with double pneumonia. When I came home, I had lost a lot of weight and suffered severe muscle atrophy in my arms. As part of my recovery process, I have used and am still using the Longang grip strengthener, and it has helped marvellously. I make about 200 to 300 repetitions a day and the transformation is amazing - my arm muscles are better than they were before my hospital stay. It is no substitute for gym work, but is an invaluable supplement.

Love the product. Variable grip strength resistance is ideal. Seems well built but only giving 4/5 for durability as I’ll have to see how it fairs in time. At the pivot point there is some signs of “chaffing” on the frame. Seems fine though. Only criticism is the rubber-esque handgrip. Because it’s ridged it can put pressure on the fingertips when using at higher tension, c. 45-50KG. Otherwise it’s great and will buy a replacement when this one does eventually wear out.

good product however over time the weight indicators rubbed off and is quite hard to grip if hands are slightly sweaty, also every time i use it the plastic componants rub together and create a plastic residue that i have to blow off other than that its pretty good

I liked that you can very easily adjust the tension in the spring and hence the strength it needs to squeeze the grip. The bit that is not so good is that once I have begun to use the strengthener there is plastic dust that is being generated where the two arms of the gripper meet. This would suggest that it will quickly wear away leaving it weak, and likely to break. But overall for the cost not so bad

A great help for what I need

I thought this might help me improve my grip and it has. But it has also, unexpectedly, visibly toned up my arm and chest muscles. Double result!
