Nearly Perfect
The photographer I trained under used strobes almost exclusively. I owned a speedlite and didn't want to make an investment in bulky and expensive strobes, so research led me to this. What I like:-Fits a smaller flash like the 430 EX II fairly well, even with a bulky trigger attached.-Cold shoes are very solid and hold the flash and wireless trigger steady and solidly. No complaint there and no fear of my gear falling off. --The included reflector is of a perfect size of 7". Used with smaller umbrellas (I use a 40") it creates a wonderfully even light, as you'd expect.-Interfit makes a ton of modifiers for this system making it as useful and versatile as a true strobe.Functionally, it includes angle markings on the Y axis which is a godsend in certain situations that require more accurate formulas. Tilt handle is solid, though I wish it were slightly shorter. What I don't Like:-Tilt handle is very long, making storage more awkward than necessary. Even tilted in it takes up more space in my PortaBrace DVO-1 than a similarly sized strobe head would.-While Interfit makes a lot of accessories, I feel they're much too expensive for a cheap system like this (I paid $40 for the Strobie XS Bracket) often costing the same as the bracket.-Flash heads do not sit exactly center when mounted vertically, eg so the back controls face outwards. When set up horizontally with the controls facing up or down it's exactly center, but then controls are not accessible.-Rubber bumper inside ring mount is very loose and prone to dislodging, which could lead to loss and then scratched up speedlites.Overall:I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate having the versatility of a strobe while not dedicating space and cash towards one.

Surprisingly good! With a bits of hmm...
So before I ordered this item, I assumed it'll be another Chinese made (no idea where Interfit products made from anyway) photo equipment - but I was wrong! The moment I got the box, it has some weight on it! The construction is well built and sturdy. I'm happy to see some rubber on every knob and even on the speedring where your speedlight goes thru. This makes you feel comfortable on resting the neck of the speedlight on the ring to reduce the stress on the hotshoe. It includes a reflector also, which I find nice as an addition. The whole bracket is a bit heavy, good whenever on a light stand or with an assistant. Unfortunately for me, this is bad news. I was planning to hand hold it on a light pole on my other hand. Still I do not blame the product/manufacturer as I just didn't do a good research about the weight. If there is one thing to complain about, it's the space between the hotshoe mount and the speed ring mount. It's a bit short. Yes you can put a Nikon SB-910 or Canon 600EX on it, it'll definitely be enough unless you are using shoe mounted triggers like Yongnuo YN-622's or Pocketwizard Flex's for TTL compatibility. Once you include such triggers, the speedlight will be 2-3 inches away from the speedring mount, making light narrower. (and also makes the included reflector a bit useless)If you plan to use triggers via sync jacks like Pocketwizard Plus III's, you,ll be fine.Overall, I am still happy with the bracket. By the way, it uses S-mount or commonly known as Bowens mount which definitely is not that hard to find.

Great little unit
I changed over from mono blocks to speadlites about 1 year ago and purchased two of these units at that time. The brackets hold the flash units securely allow you to position the sensor on the flash so it can see the master unit and adapt to a wide range of modifiers including soft boxes beauty dishes barn doors and shoots. These units real add a tremendous amount of flexibility to speedlites and still allow you a great deal of portability.

Love these brackets
Love using these brackets. They quickly set up. My nikon flashes (SB-600/SB-700) fit nicely and easily rotate for easy access to either the back controls or the IR sensor. Have an octo, softbox and umbrellas and they all mount well to the bracket. Tightens down nicely.

Outstanding Product! Very Practical!
Purchased two of these brackets and just love them. What a wonderful idea! With the right speedlites you can rock and roll. The ability to tilt forward and backward is great. One unit came with the two small (3mm) screws rolling free in the container, they are used to secure the front ring piece. Installed two new ones from the hardware store and wa -lah! Fixed. Still deserves 5 stars because it's a great product. This is my third one.

Excellent product!!!
This is the best product of its kind that I have found on Amazon or anywhere else for that matter... and believe me, I'vebeen looking!!!Very well built! The metal frame would minimise damage to the flash if the flash stand were to be knocked down and the handle enables me to make quick adjustments to the flash position. This speed of the adjustment make this product particularly handy for location shoots!A better buy than the Kaavie T versIon, although I have that too and it's cheaper!

re: great product
I consider this product as slightly costly compared to other flash gun brackets found on ebay. However, I could not find a similar product - same shape and specs. in order to compare like with like. The build quality is superb and be sure that the bracket will not creep due to the weight of the umbrella or beauty dish. I haven't tried to use it with my soft box.I would definitely buy another of these brackets to add to my photography equipment.

So I have to be pleased with it
Although about the same price as a Yongnuo Speedlight which I fitted, it enables me to use a large Softbox on location. So I have to be pleased with it.

Seen it first time on a blog. I liked it because you can use your speedlight with every light modifier you like.
