Super refined and potent
Always thought kava was beneficial for nerves and insomnia, but had a hard time stomaching massive amounts of muddy, peppery water. Then came Maui Medicinal's Hawaiian Kava caps, which are super easy to take and seem to work really well, showcasing the best of the kavain-rich cerebral Hawaiian 'awa experience. A cap seems to equal about 8 oz. of regularly prepared kava, and just like the beverage remember to take it on an empty stomach; otherwise uncap it, roll it in an empty teabag (I find 5x6cm works best) and take it buccally like snus!

Great quality Kava
Good stuff, I'd buy this again. Does what it says on the tin, er... bottle, you know what I mean. As they say, "Kava makes me mellow," and this stuff does the trick. Not too expensive either, which is nice.

Placebo?
Hard to tell if the effects are placebo or not. And you have to take multiple capsules on an empty stomach to even get any type of reaction. Stick with the kava root powder so that you can make a traditional tea out of it. You’ll get a better reaction that way. I don’t recommend these supplements. Do not purchase unless you like taking unecessary things and wasting your money.

love kava, very effective for me.
Works great for me before interviews or high stress situations. Helps me stay focused and not tired at all by supressing extreme emotions. (Note, it does not make me an unfeeling zombie, just relaxed and able to think clearly) I think this was the only way I got thru my wedding without blubbering the whole day!

Really great kava
I use kava as a sleep aid frequently. I really like this particular brand. I find it to be very effective (two capsules; plus I take a magnesium supplement) and it doesn't do that horrible "burp-back" that some herbal supplements do which is really unpleasant in kava or valerian supplements.
