Sturdy and attractive. It looks like a good fixture not a cheap one. All the pieces were there and packaged well. Instructions were adequate for completing the replacement Frosted lights do not leave as much of a pattern on the wall but you can see the lights through the clear globe. Clear lights cast a significant pattern on the wall but look better in the fixture.

I don’t know how this item got so many “good” reviews. The product made in China, and poorly made at that. The mounting base is a cheap piece of tin, you can see where the glass was molded together, and there are bubbles in the glass. It also does not come with the electrical box screws, which most fixtures come with. Not worth $200. At most, i’d say $75. I’ve purchased much less expensive lighting for half the price that was MUCH better quality. Sadly, it still looks better than what was there. So, unfortunately, it is going to stay where it is until I can find a better, more solid replacement. Glad I didn’t buy 2 like planned so I could put one in the upstairs hallway as well. This fixture is a tarnish on the Hinkley name/brand.

I wanted something pineapple-related in our home because I like the symbolism behind it. Plus, it reminds me of Oahu, where I've spent a lot of vacation time. This piece looks perfect in the entrance hall of our low-ceiling, older, Tudor home. The antiquing in the finish is well done, not cheap-looking as many pieces seem to be these days. The glass shade is elegant and has a good weight to it. I am very, very happy with this purchase.

I am very disappointed that I can't use LED bulbs. I'll be returning both light fixtures I just purchased.

We really love the look of these lights in our hallway, however, be aware that the swirled glass does refract light differently then a solid glass dome and does create a pronounced pattern on the walls.

We also ordered the miniature hanging lights to compliment this overhead light & we are very pleased with both. I very much like the pattern the light creates on the ceiling in the dining room and we dim the small lights over our bar to act as night lights. We have had many compliments on both.
