Easy to use
I purchased this wood burning kit so I could create some wooden plaques for my family.The kit is easy to use and comes with an array of ends so I can create different effects.

Initially happy with product until it became defective
Kit comes with everything you need to start your pyrography project. Some stuff not so relevant like a pack of colouring pencils and plastic stencils. I chose this kit because of the adjustable temperature and the amount of tips included. On opening I was pleased.First time of use was good. The second time of use the tip I was using started to come lose and wouldn't lock in properly. I waited for the pen to cool then changed the tip. It was very tight to remove (now cool). The new tip felt firm and I started doing some artwork. As soon as the pen heated up the tip became loose again. I gave up on it. The third day I gave it one last go. Now the tip was so loose when on medium heat, it fell out of the pen. Fault: The wood burning tip converter had expanded so much with the heat it was now oversized and unable to keep any of the tips attached to the pen.A real disappointment. Maybe an isolated faulty item or maybe a poor quality product.

solder and wood burn-sculpting tools .
Unusually for a product made in china (schezhan) the product was beautifully made ab the various parts all fitted perfectly, and raised to the correct temperature in the time stated. I bought this pack of soldering tools for the purpose of gold recovery from circuit boards - which it does perfectly. i am an experienced solderer, and find the bladed tool perfect when hot for stripping the gold from the circuit board connection strip. it is essential to clean the tools if you melt solder, and also avoid fumes which can be harmful if inhaled

Poor quality and value for money
The instructions that came with this were unhelpful. The nib bent the first time I used it. Although the pack has 70 pieces, this includes children's pencils and stencils, which are unnecessary, possibly added just to make it look like a kit with many pieces.

Not the greatest, not the worst
Burner feels flimsy, which is dangerous at high temperature! The cord is heavy in comparison and makes it harder to control movement. Lots of extras but some soldering tips not suitable for more than one use. The zipper case is very handy though. This kit is good for the casual burner, or someone looking to try out different techniques for a decent price.

Bought as a gift for an arty young friend and he loves it. Plenty of accessories to help with projects and nicely presented. Very pleased

Even my husband could use thix
I have not used the tools yet so cannot rate them or the temperature at this time as I have a fracture to my wrist.Am really pleased with the amount of tools and their individual uses.Like the case
