Tubbs Men's Xplore Snowshoe

I was a little worried about these snowshoes fitting over men's size 12 hiking boots, but it turned out not to be an issue.Though my hiking boots aren't able to slip completely into the front-most binding, they hold very well anyway. After walking for a half hour or so, I had to tighten the rear binding as my foot came to "rest" after putting weight and use on it. The cloth bindings over the middle of the foot can loosen up a tad as they get wet, but I generally have to tighten them once (Which is extremely easy to do) per excursion.They've taken me through miles of snow, both soft and crusty. I've also scrambled up large, snowy gravel piles with them and gracelessly slid/tumbled down the other side, and through it the crampons held up and the shoes stayed pretty well attached to my feet. I'm looking forward to using them again next Winter, and couldn't be more pleased with this set of Tubbs as my first snowshoe purchase.

These snowshoes are fantastic; I was a little worried about the weight limit, but they held my (then) 255lb frame with winter boots/gear. Easy to put on, easy to snap off, and excellent movement up and down hills. Great traction on compact snow, took them through Lake Placid and up in Upstate NY.

Perfect for first time snowshoers and they got a workout this winter for sure! In retrospect, I wish I had gotten the step in type binding. They are a little more expensive but would be worth it.

These snowshoes are amazing! They are very sturdy and easy to put on! I would definitely recommend them to everyone! We had a fabulous time snowshoeing for the first time this season!

The shoes are very good once you get into them, but I hand the toe be small and difficult to get a boot into, making getting started on cold mornings a chore.
