2-Drawer Vertical File Cabinet, Espresso

Firstly, this filing cabinet looks amazing once fully assembled. The quality is excellent and the furnishings make it perfect for a home office. I work from home a lot and have this in my guest room/office. I wanted something that was functional wouldn’t ruin the aesthetic of the guest room by being too cold looking or bulky. This looks like a solid piece of furniture and looks like it belongs in the bedroom. I also have the z-Line desk in the same finish so it’s perfect.My husband assembled it and reported that it was challenging to put together. It requires precision and patience but it’s worth it in the end.

Assembly was a simple process and no defects or abrasions were discovered. The materials seemed durable and capable of bearing some weight, but the lock is cheap and will not deter theft because it can be easily detached from the drawer. However, the drawers are deep and glide easily so accessibility is excellent and the unit corresponds with existing furniture.

This took me and my boyfriend a little over an hour to put together. When we first opened the box we were like holy f*#! this looks like a pain in the a$$, but after preassembling the first few boards you get the hang of it quickly and the rest is a piece of cake. The directions are easy to follow except for trying to figure out what direction that damn “O” piece goes. We just guessed but the good news is that it’s on the back of the cabinet and doesn’t matter too much. The finished product is beautiful and totally worth trying to strangle your assistant/loved one during the first 15 minutes of assembly.

I love this cabinet. It exceeded my expectations. Super easy to put together. I mean, all the pieces are numbered, they even include the wood glue. I would definitely recommend this product. Very sturdy too. One small scratch on top but I still think it's a 5 star.

I use it in my home office. The color was exactly what I wanted, it is very sturdy. the instructions were pretty good, there was one step that I did not install correctly, but since it was a trim piece it was not too noticeable and someday I may fix it. But I still believe it was a good bargain for the money.

I ordered this cabinet thinking that it would be a beautiful piece of furniture. While the wood tone is great, the lock screw holes don't line up with the holes in the door. Worse yet, the lock put a chip in the front door. Also, the cabinet doors don't line up, both the sides don't line up with each other, and the top drawer sticks out further than the bottom one. I do not recommend anyone purchase this product. It was also really hard to put together.

This file cabinet is nicer than I expected. It feels quite sturdy, with the exception of the thin drawer bottoms that won't allow you to put much weight on the floors of drawers. It did have flaws from the factory, but luckily on the insides of drawers where most would never see them. The handles feel very cheap, but could be easily replaced with something quality for an even better appearance and feel. The lock only locks the top drawer, not both. Not perfect, but it's hard to argue with what you get for the price. With a handle replacement, I think it would look like a more expensive unit. For day to day use, I have no real complaints other than those thin floors, so just plan on hanging files rather than tossing things into the drawers if they weigh much.

A pain to put together. Go buy one at staples instead that’s assembled. Looks great when complete though, but I was cursing it for the couple hours of figuring out where the insane amount of components went!

Love the instructions on this. Everything is really clear with identifications even on the different pieces. Really easy to follow. And the final product is really great. Just wish the bottom of the drawers would be more solid as I can't put papers directly on them. It is really just for hanging file folders.

While installing, keep seeing scratches, the worst on was on the left of the Cabinet.
