Great for a third grader. A little hard to read for a first grader. Both love the whole series.

If your kids (or you!) are getting deeper into Minecraft, then this series of books is a perfect, but manageable read. This book gives a good in depth explanation of enchantments and potions, with loads of images and information which will get lapped up.Yes it’s true, you can find out most of this information and more from online forums etc, but that’s not packaged up in a nice little hardback book which can be read at night when the lights are supposed to be out.

Handy little guidebook from Egmont which is a nice size and printed with a quality purple themed hardback cover. The guide covers everything you need to know about enchantments and potions in minecraft and is well laid out and organised by someone who has a good eye for design and such things. A good reference book to add to your collection if you're mad about the game!

These Mojang Minecraft guidebooks are great. I have collected the whole hardback set so far as I have started playing Minecraft. I find them vary helpful in getting me to understand the basics of various aspects of the game. The layout of the book is pleasing to the eye and easy to read. Not too wordy, and with plenty of pictures and diagrams to help you get the most from it. The information contained is enough to get you understanding what the game is about and how its various mechanics work, without getting too bogged down in technicalities and descriptions. These would be ideal for young children, but also helpful to us older ones. They are also made vary well, with a good hard cover and thick pages.

Bought for my son, who loves this minecraft stuff :) he's really into it, and as much as I dislike the game, the guides are well written and well thought out, they inspire him to try and recreate, adapt and plan. He is good at reading but sometimes asks me how to spell things in game, or uses the book to copy words.I've got no clue, Lego was my thing when I was a young girl, as for games I'll stick to Dragon age and Deadpool :D

Another great book. The buildings alone in the back of these are great! Amazing to help describe potions and what they do and enchantments and what they do. Buy this instead of scrolling for hours to figure out how complex Minecraft is!
