Roebic CA-1 Bacterial Compost Accelerator: 2.5 pounds, for faster composting

Just started using product. Easy to follow instructions. Looking for great results.

Great for a quick start on the compost…despite correct ratio of greens and browns…got the heat started…shake a little on, gently wet, turn the compost, lid back on. Especially good at beginning of season…winter really takes the heat outa the pile!!

It is working as intended. I was not aware I needed to water down the plants/brush prior to pouring product. had to haul water to the area

This brand compost accelerator worked better than I expected. Compared to the previous compost accelerator I've used, this has no unpleasant smell. It also helps break down compost at a faster rate. While the container may be small and a bit pricey, this compost accelerator is worth it if you have multiple compost bins.

This product came with what looked looked like a child safe cap on it. Unfortunately, the cap was off and the product was spilled all over the bag. I had to use a funnel to pour it back into the bottle. I didn't have a scale handy, but the bottle was about 1/3 empty. I cannot get the cap to stay on securely either.I really have no way of knowing if the product is actually working at this juncture.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is wanting fast compost. I use this every year and it works. It functions as advertised and does not add to the smell of the compost. However your compost probably should smell in the heat of the summer if it is rotting like it is supposed to. Also this product does not harm the bugs and worms needed to create good compost.

It really works! I'm completely happy with this product; it helped a lot with my composting!
