Worked for me
These say they work only for certain model but they're mostly universal. I just checked that the buttons for all the functions were there and it worked for mine which I forgot what brand it is.

Worked right away
My last remote fell apart and this was the replacement. Once batteries were in it worked a charm for my fireplace. I could not tell the brand of fireplace I had as it came in a TV cabinet but the remote looked the same. Glad I got this.

exact replacement for the remode my dog had for lunch
My dog found the remote to our fireplace and punished us by chewing it up. I was so glad to find a direct replacement. I was able to just pop in the batteries and use it. No programming or changes were required. Worked out of the box for us. So no need to drive our bad dog back to the dog pound (just kidding). He is forgiven, in part to the availability of a replacement.

Works on my Electric fireplace!!
Woork great ordered a electric fire place and no remote this one works great. Buttons stick some timegoodnes but, works my fireplace thankful for that or would of had to package and send back the fireplace so, it was a big help!

Works for Wayfair fireplace TV stand!
Dog ate the remote for the fireplace part of an Orren Ellis tv stand from Wayfair. Wayfair and manufacturer said they don’t sell remote separately but found this guy on Amazon and it works perfectly! Super happy.

Dog chewed up remote and broke my heart.
I wasn't sure of my brand of fireplace and it didn't appear on my order list and nothing on unit itself. The remote looked identical so I got one. I put batteries in and pointed it at my fireplace and hit power and it lit up instantly. Hooray! All the colors work again and the dog is forgiven. I love my fireplace, it makes the room.

Replaces Original Remote
Replacement for original remote which quit working after a few months. The new one works well and customer service at GM Home was excellent in addressing the issue and replacing original with this one.
