Looks authentic, good value
The instructions were as clear as any other kits I have built. Build was easy and took 3 evenings (after dinner) to complete w/painting. Contrary to other reviews, I found it fairly easy to install 2 LEDs towards the end of the assembly; a yellow one down from the dining room ceiling, and a red flicker type over/behind the counter area. I drilled a hole for each LED, glued them in place, spliced the wires together above the ceiling and ran an extension wire through a 3rd hole between front and rear rooms. Looks great on my train layout - I also have capability to dim all my building lights, which takes out some of the intense/bright looking LEDs. Thought it was a great deal for the size & complexity of the kit.

Easy to assemble
My son in law loves this building. Easy to assemble!!

difficult to assemble.
it's one of the more difficult model buildings I've ever had to assemble. Parts are labeled kind of poorly, instructions don't show parts which interior walls go on which side, so many other little difficult items. I am an intermediate modeler and I was suggest this only for experts.

I bought this for my brother for his HO train table. He really enjoys making buildings and this one has turned out to be one of his favorites.

Falsely advertised color
This is advertised "molded in color" but it isn't. The only colors are the yellow sign amd gray base. The box and the item pictures also state complete interior detailing but the interior is all white and there are no details in color or full stickers included. The only things this gives you is a small menu sticker and a small stripe sticker. Actual construction was hard because the pieces don't lay flat because of the numbers on the back. I had to use tweezers and clips to make the pieces fit properly. Does not include any paints either. Its a cute idea, and if you already have the model cements and paints maybe ok... But if you don't this project seems very overpriced considering you dont get what was advertised.
