This product seems to work really well. We went without a cat for years due to my daughter’s allergies. However, when the cat we got for outside made himself at home inside, I found this well-reviewed product and decided to give it a try. It seems to work great, as my daughter does not complain of allergy symptoms, even when sitting where the cat has previously been. The application of the product was a little hairy at first, but now that my cat is used to it, it is a pretty smooth process.

my cats hate it lol but it seems to be working pretty ok for my boyfriend. he started getting more symptoms after like 3 days but i feel like i’m torturing them when i spray them with it so idk

This stuff works great for removing dander from my cat's fur and making it smell fresh and clean! It also makes the fur feel soft and silky.

I saw a video of a woman using this on Tiktok and could not believe it when she said that it made her no longer have allergies from her cat. Hearing this, I had to give it a try because I’ve had cats for years but I always suffer from extremely bad allergies (itchy eyes, hives, sneezing, itchy throat). Well let me tell you, I’m so happy I bought this. I’m not even kidding when I tell you that I have not had any allergies from my cat since then! All of my allergy symptoms have gone away and it does not even feel as if I’m around a cat. I would usually not let my cat sleep with me, but I let her now and I feel completely fine. Honestly, this stuff is insane. If you’re thinking about it, GET IT!

I purchased this to help with my son’s allergies to our two dwarf house bunnies. My son is allergic to both the bunnies, and their hay. I’m not sure the Allerpet spray is helping yet. I do know that I need to reapply it more frequently than I have been to our bunnies’ coats. They don’t seem to mind me working it into their coats with the mit. Actually, they seem to love that part. The microfiber mit works great on them. The product scent is mild, not overpowering. I think it is a good product and will continue to use it.

Chamomile, which this product has an extract of listed as an ingredient, is considered by ASPCA to be toxic to both cats and dogs. Chamomile can cause contact dermatitis, vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia, allergic reactions. Long term use like application to the region of your animal's body where the lick most offen once a week for example, can lead to bleeding tendencies. People who own pets they have allergies to and are searching for a way to help mediate said allergies tend to care for their animals very much. I am very fortunate that I had an approaching vet appointment and was conscientious enough to double check the ingredients with them but not everyone has access or the means to check with their vet for every little thing. Not everyone has time to research every ingredient to make sure it is safe for their pet. Not everyone thinks they need to ask. They reasonably except for products developed for their animals and marketed as safe for their animals to not contain ingredients that are known to be toxic to their animals. I returned unused and unopened. If it was at all possible to give a product zero stars, I would. This product definitely earned it. Seriously, do better.

I just got the dog dander remover, mitt and sprayer today from Amazon. The sprayer is worse than useless: I have to lift the lever mechanically with the few sprays that I actually accomplish. What a waste of time, energy, and money. I ended up pouring the remover onto the mitt instead of spraying. I hope that the dander remover works better than the stupid excuse for a sprayer!! Time and my allergies will tell.
