hard work but worth it
I forgot to take a before pic but just imagine the tiles with non-existent grout. So much of it was gone that many tiles started falling off. I’m using my husband’s account to leave this review as he was also involved in the process. Neither of us had ever grouted anything before so we were new to doing something like this. First we wiped all the tiles down just to clear any dirt and scum. Then mixed the grout into a thick smooth putty just like the instructions said. I made it in batches so it wouldn’t dry out if we didn’t work fast enough. It was really hot out when doing this so it made things dry fast. The first batch was runnier than it should have been(realized it when making a much better second batch) but it all seems to have settled and dried the same. We tried a few methods for the application but since our tiles are uneven and the cracks in between very deep the method that worked best was using a putty knife to press the putty into the cracks and running our fingers along to remove any excess. This took a lot of time(and patience). I realized I was being too much of a perfectionist when I didn’t have to be. The sponge you’ll use later on evens everything out. Then we let it dry for 45-1hour(as instructed) and wiped off all the excess using a bucket of water and wringing out a sponge. It took 1.5 tubs to complete the work but I think we wasted a lot of product since the tiles are uneven and we couldn’t run a molded rubber grout float along it(I bought one but it wasn’t usable for this job) so a lot of product was left behind on the tiles even though we tried our best to scrape it off. I wore gloves for this, my husband didn’t and his fingers are fine. I would still suggest wearing fitted kitchen gloves(the medical ones rip too easily). We did this over an entire day and let it dry for about 30 hours before refilling the pool. We also didn’t drain the pool but lowered the water line just below the tiles. Some grout fell in but it hardened and our pool vacuum later picked it up. I wasn’t sure if this product was to be used for a pool since there’s a picture of one yet nothing that actually says it’s made for pools but seeing a few other reviewers using it as such is what made me choose this one. It’s pretty straightforward and it turned out really great. Now the real test is seeing if it’ll last where constantly submerged. But so far so good! I’d definitely recommend this product!

Best product to repair pool tile.
This is EXACTLY what we needed to repair old pool tiles that fell off. We used Gorilla brand construction adhesive to glue them back on and this tile grout to fill the grout lines. It cures FAST. I couldn’t find anything like this in the box stores or pool supply stores. Best purchase ever.

Great Waterproof Grout!!
I bought this grout last year for a job that I’ve been putting off and we just finished it. It is 100% accurate and it’s description. Fantastic product to work with. No shrinkage no cracking dried very quickly very easy to use.!

Works well even for a novice.
Tile was never properly grouted when our house was built and it has always bothered me. Had it regrouted for $$$ several years ago and still not happy. Did this myself over the summer and have been very pleased ( I'm a small woman with no handyman skills to speak of). I followed the directions and it worked. Has held up well and stayed white. Only complaint is that it turns cement gray when wet.

Works exactly as advertised, even for a first-timer
The other reviewers were right, this product is extremely easy to use. It's a no brainer even though it was my first time doing tile grouting. No wonder the other reviewers didn't really say much -- there is nothing to say. Follow the instructions on the product, exactly, and you will get the job done. I used it to re-grout the small (1 inch x 1 inch) white tiles on shower floor. Easy wipe-off, forgiving if you make a mistake (before it hardens), doesn't harden that quickly so that you have plenty of time to make "edits". Shower has been used for many weeks since, without any problems at all. Plus, you are supporting a small American business. So, high marks all around. Turns out I only needed a tiny bit of this giant tub, so be aware that you may get a lifetime supply if you buy this tub (check the quantity specs). UPDATE: after 3 years of daily shower use, the white color tends to discolor, but that is to be expected, and I suppose I just have to touch up again. However the grout itself seems to still be in place, and has not worn away.

AVOID! : Not quite...not Excellent product! I used this in my shower
UPDATE 2: this grout is not good at all! It’s next to impossible to clean. It’s discolored now and won’t clean up to white anymore. Yes, I followed the directions to the T but over time this has become the worst decision I ever made. DO NOT use it in your shower! UPDATE: After following directions precisely and watching a youtube video on how to get the correct consistency, after just 3 months, the grout seems to be discolored a bit as if shampoo/soap caused this despite being cleaned every few days and getting dried by towel after each use. It also appears to have mold/mildew now embedded in it and simply cant be removed. The shower had been cleaned, thoroughly dried for days and all old grout was removed properly (not my first time.) Not sure why this happened but I'd like to think I did everything properly. From what I understood, this was waterproof and didn't need to be sealed but I could be wrong. Either way, it looked amazing when done but after just 3 months, I am VERY disappointed because I'll have to grind all the grout out again and use standard shower grout and just seal it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I used this to re-grout my shower and it is amazing! It's such a better option to use over standard grout for two reasons. It's waterproof and needs no sealant. The thing you NEED to pay attention to is how you mix it. Mix it to a pancake like consistency and it will go on just fine. If you add too much water, it will dry in a grey color, I know because I messed up a small area and had to grind out the bad grout to fix it. I won't go into detail but too much water affects the color of any grout. You also need to only mix a little at a time and spread it. Don't do anything for more than 10 mins or else it will dry quickly. I chose to do a batch, then spread it over a 10 min period then mix a new batch. So yeah, make it like pancake batter, and limit the time you take to spread it and it will be fine.

Unbelievable workability
Yes this product is expensive ! Worth every penny ! extreme work time, follow the instructions closely they are NOT complicated. I've used a great deal of grout products and this one excels, used this to regrout my mosaic glass tile swimming pool and am I glad I did I'm not sure I could have found a better product.

Easier to use than we thought it would be.
When we bought our house the pool had been neglected and most of the grout was gone from between the tiles along the top. My husband and I decided to regrout our pool ourselves instead of paying someone hundreds of dollars to do it. We lowered the water level to about 6" from the tiles and did everything according to the excellent directions on the container. Our pool now looks great! It was so much easier than we thought it would be. Some tips we learned by doing: Mix up just a small amount at a time because it will get hard very fast, and unless you have several people helping you, you will not get the job done before what you mixed up hardens. Also, we found that using our finger instead of a spatula did the best job of filling in the spaces. And to save the skin on your finger, wear a thin latex glove, because this kind of grout will cut your skin just like concrete. Also, don't wait very long to go over the tiles with a large sponge to remove the excess. An hour or so is long enough to wait, instead of overnight like other grout.
