Game changer.
6’1” 33” waist. Amazing. My new ECWS midlayer. Ugly. Yes. Competitively prices. Yes. Stupid warm. Yes. If you are like me and appreciate function over form, you found a friend here. Also. Amazing customer service. Similar to the Yukon baselayer from cathartic but twice as ugly and twice as warm.

The Kats Pjyamas!
First off: Sizing is dead on. I'm just a tad north of a 40" waist and the XL fit me very well with just enough stretch to be comfortable without feeling like the pants were going to slide off...this was particularly critical for my intended use.I purchased these pants specifically for my deep of winter hammock camping experience. I'd been working with layers of wool and flannel but wanted something easier to work with, a don & done kind of solution. And these worked perfectly.I've been loitering around and sleeping in these to temperature down below -10°F with zero discomfort or any sense of being cold. They're really well constructed, the cuffs close up nicely around your ankle, preventing any draft. Same for your pee-port. They're roomy enough that you have a complete range of motion, no binding, no pulling. My only ding might be the lack of pockets, small quibble since you've probably got them in your jacket.Very happy with this purchase.

Price is reasonable, super warm. Also for those chilly gals in your life!
I am a gal who gets chilly - often. Setting aside the fact that I look like a clown in them, they're fantastic! They remain as comfy and warm in a blizzard (just shoveled/blew 14 inches of snow sporting these little treasures) as they are while lounging around with Netflix.Had been looking for down pants, but none were reasonably priced for my limited use. These are fabulous. For you ladies out there who have a hundred warm sweaters/fleeces and other tops -- but are stuck with the same old drafty bottoms -- these are a game changer.

The secret to warm feet
Anyone who is a Great Lakes steelhead fisherman understands the challenge of keeping your feet (and whole self) warm while standing for hours hip-deep is 32-degree water. I have tried various foot warmers (none last long enough), socks (some are definitely better than others) and wading boots (bigger with room for air is definitely better, but clumsier) until I finally realized that you also need to keep the blood going down your legs to your feet warm too. I just got back from a day-long trip to the Erie tribs and stood hip-deep most of that day (air temp=32-35; water temp 32-33). This was the first time I used these insulated trousers underneath my breathable waders and the very first time my feet never got uncomfortably cold in these conditions. In fact, they helped keep all of me warmer. Also, the nylon shell helps them slip easily into and out of the waders. I was not bothered by sweat inside the waders either - although I didn't do a lot of moving around on this trip (which makes it even more difficult to stay warm). At this price compared to nanopuff or primaloft garments and the performance I saw on this trip, these are a no-brainer. If you stand in cold water for winter fishing, you owe it to yourself to try these.

Overall the material will last! And they are accurate on delivery
I love the fact that they last, what got me neutral and i only gave three stars was because i ordered a 3x last time and they were tight on the ankle part and the waist wraps on the waist but this time it was like how is it that a 2xl is loose on the ankles and the doesnt wrap on the waist. It seems like it was bigger then the 3xl

Very good quality garment
I had to return this item because it was too large for my husband. He is 6’3” and 190 pounds. I ordered a large and will reorder in a medium. This is a lovely garment of good quality. I was very pleased. Another plus for me was that it came directly from the manufacturer and they quickly provided a PREPAID return label.

Fit perfectly
Husband is 5" 6" and has approximate 29-30 inseam. They fit perfect. Only complaint is that they are very stiff. I tried washing but it did not help. I think they just need to be worn to loosen up. However, I rate them highly because of the quality, warmth and fit. Thank you
