Both are not dishtowels, one dishtowel and one tea towel. Check for imperfections.
I really like these towels, but have a few issues. The Dobby stripe is a tea towel more than a dishtowel and not nearly as absorbent, but very pretty. The SW stripe jacquard is also lovely and is a dishtowel which became increasing absorbent after each washing, but there were a couple of pulls in the threads (see picture; I had noticed only one at that time) which can't be just snipped off without the towel starting to unravel. I got these to give as a gift and because of the flaws, kept them myself and sent something else. I have several Southwest type design kitchen towels and they mix and match well. The flaw I the picture has increased with each washing. I wouldn't wash them so much normally, but I was trying to get them to a good level of absorbency, because they simply are not absorbent when you first get them.

Beautiful southwestern look
I bought this tablethrow and 4 napkins for use in my casual dining room in Colorado, where red and green are common! It's perfect. Nice medium weight jacquard fabric (which I love); great color combination -- just like on my screen, and just the right size for my 4-6 person table. Also got the napkins. Will be wonderful with tamales or carne adovado or whatever. Can't wait for our next New Mexican meal! Looks like it will wash easily and not wrinkle.

Rich fabric, very good quality
Love the rich colors that held up beautifully after a washing. The cotton/linen material can also be cleaned by hand with a cloth. The pattern is more than printed, there are woven threads in the design, has a very nice quality feel to the fabric. Very pleased, it's an understated but undeniably southwest accent for our table.

Disappointed
Somewhat disappointed with this purchase. Placemats are a bit more orange, not as red as the picture shows. After washing placemats have shrunk by at least 10%. They are okay but would not purchase again

Cute
I gave these as a little birthday gift and they looked adorable. Loved the southwest print and they feel soft. Would definitely buy again if need be.Update: I have now purchased these a second time for a thank you gift, still love these!

Lovely but Wrinkle Prone
These are very pretty but on the thin side and so very wrinkly coming out of the wash. I had not planned on having to iron my tea towels but because of the solid color background the wrinkles make them look very messy instead of cheerful. The perky raised embroidery sunshines deserve to be the main focus.

Southwest table linen
Love the colors, as advertised. Don't love that it shrank at first washing, not in with but length. Very disappointing.

STUNNING!
These are stunning! I love them. Yes, they can be called “Southwest” style but I think they are fine for any decór if you have colors that go with these. They are a dark bronze color with a dark turquoise stone. Look and feel like nice quality.
