I want to create a hidden path/mountain scape for a 20 gallon tall tank (24.5x 17.5). How many pounds of stone would you recommend?

A 20 lbs. Is a good start with medium to large stone, medium and small mixed size. You can request more medium to large size and less small when you submit the order.

Do not boil the stone. Because stones tend to explode when boiled. A good rinse with some of the existing tanks tank water should work fine.

Is a 20lbs big enough to fill the back of a 27gal cube tank?
